Sizing guide is incorrect, I am a 9.5 in sneakers in Australia, according to their guide I should have ordered a 9.
I did order a 9 and I could not get it onto my foot without pretty significant pain.
I returned it and ordered my normal size 9.5 and it fits amazingly, I didn't even have to wear them in they were great from day one.
Cons: Received one, had to return it because the right boot’s leather that holds the lace wasn’t in the middle. It was way out to the left. Bought another one, it has the same problem, but not as bad. I am flying soon, couldn’t be bothered with another return. Quality control seems to be a hit or miss.
Pros: fit is good. Looks terrific, I can only imagine how good it would look as it ages. Hopefully it will last me at least 5 years. Pretty comfortable so far. I will update my review in a few months when I have worn it more

You probably already know Thursday's story; crowd funded origin and quality control issues to start, but that was 5 years ago. Today, Thursday has proven time and again that they really do care by admitting when there are problems, improving production, and listening to the customer and providing world class customer service.
I'm a somewhat giant guy (6'5" 230lbs) and have above averaged sized feet. This leads me to the biggest downside with Thursday Boots. Direct to consumer.
Direct to consumer is one of the features that enables Thursday Boot Co to do what they do for the price that they do it and their customer service will bend over backwards for you while you order, exchange, and repeat. I ended up ordering and returning 5 pairs of boots from them (only one pair was Amazon, the rest was their own site) and returning 4 of them while trying to figure out the right size. I had no idea what size to wear in a pair of boots like these and I didn't know what they should feel like either. Is it too tight? Too short? Too long? Maybe I should just exchange them again and try a different size?
Go get yourself measured on a Brannok device. All shoe stores have them and can measure your feet for free. Just do it first! It was exhausting and partly my fault, but it paid off in the end. I measured a 13.5 EE on the Brannok device and ended up with a 13 "wide" in Thursday sizing. These wide sizes are available on Thursday's own website.
1st Update. Contacted customer service and they were very helpful. New pair of boots on the way with quality in check this time. Will update this review when I receive the new pair.
2nd Update. They sent me a new pair expedited with no more quality issues. I'm very satisfied now but, I will say the first hour I wore these my heels were killing me. Not sure if that is an issue everyone will have (I'm pretty positive I got the correct size) But I will wear them in and wear thicker socks and update this review once again after a few weeks.
I chose the boot size based on my dress shoe size, and it fits perfectly. When it arrived, the tongue look a little scratched, but when I contacted Thursday Boots, they assured me it was normal as the rivets on the boot come into contact with the tongue during transportation. Furthermore, the boots actually look better roughed up. Which is one thing I love about them, they are tough boots and aren't delicate like dress shoes. I can wear them without worrying they are going to get scuffed, because they just look better if they do.
As above, the boots are hardy and tough. They took a little bit of breaking in and getting used to for me, but once I did get used to them, they were a pleasure to wear. Additionally, I contacted Thursday Boots upon getting my order with certain questions regarding the scuffs (read above) and also on care instructions for the boots. Their customer service rep was very friendly and helpful. She genuinely did her homework before coming back to answer any questions I have asked, making sure she knew the background information.
Finally, I just wish that Amazon would continue shipping these boots to Singapore. For some reason, after getting this pair of boots Amazon has stopped shipping Thursdays to Singapore. So Amazon, if you're reading this, please start shipping these to Singapore again!
Update: I still think these shoes are great, but on of the lace hooks popped off. I think I got a lemon, otherwise the quality check isn't as good. I cant find the exact hook anywhere. It's upsetting that I thought this would last a lifetime but ended up calling apart in a few weeks. I'd be glad to give it a five star again if I could get some lace hooks from the company so I can install it on my shoes. Possibly some spare in case the other ones fall out...
First impression is that this is a great boot for the price. I’ve seen quality boots go as high as $400 before so finding a quality pair for $200 is a steal.
Leather quality is pretty solid. I got the Arizona adobe color so it tends to take on scratches/scuffs pretty easily and right out of the box, there were a few scratches on the upper sole.
The fit is near perfect on the first wear. I can’t wait to break these in and soften the leather around the toe box and see how comfy these can be.
Only issue is that the color doesn’t quite match the photos and description. This is a slight bit more on the lighter brown/red side compared to the photos. Not that big of a deal for me but could pose an issue to some others. I think it’ll age pretty well once there’s some road grime and exposure to the world to darken it up a bit.
The shape of the boot in person also looks slightly different from pictures but I’m sure that will change as I break in the leather. In the pictures it shows a hard angled break at the ankles (profile view) and in person it’s more of a slope. Nbd though. It’ll probably break in just as nicely.
The boots are amazing. You can just see the quality when looking at them. And the heels add almost an inch and a half to my height. I always wanted to be 6 ft tall.
Highly recommend these boots. They are instantly comfortable. After they break in, they'll be perfect.
Thursday's customer service is also top notch. Any time I had a question I simply used their chat service found on their website to get ahold of an agent that could help me. On two separate occasions the agents went significantly out of their way to help me figure out the easiest way to buy the boots, what products to use to care for them, etc. I cannot recommend these boots enough for someone.
At only $200, they just can't be beat. Construction seems superb, the aesthetic is top notch, and the customer service backs it all up. I simply could not ask for more at this price point.
Features: Steel shank, 360 goodyear with a slim profile, Kevlar laces (on a few of the styles), all add up to a very high-quality shoe. The steel shank helps with arch support, which I’ve definitely noticed lacking in some competitors. The full outer goodyear stitch does a great job keeping water out, and making the shoe easier to repair down the line. The Kevlar laces have held up quite well to some moderate yardwork, and I pull them pretty tight! Overall, these boots check all the boxes on features. There’s really nothing else I would look for, and that’s pretty impressive.
Quality: But even with all the features, they still manage to keep it clean and consistent. I’d read the other reviews pointing out some defects, so I did my homework and checked mine thoroughly when they arrived. Leather was consistent, stitching was solid, and I was generally happy. That said, be sure to check yours and know what to look for. Amazon is great about returns if you’re quick to report any defects, so make sure you’re happy with it and don’t wait.
Verdict: Awesome. Very happy with these. They feel well-made enough for work while looking classy enough to wear to a restaurant. When you compare them to their close competitors like Frye and Wolverine, they blow them out of the water and are cheaper too. No question, these are the shoes you want.
