Logan and Natalie’s journey to love.

Natalie is an in demand chef who allows no nonsense in her kitchen nor any outside involvement. After rejecting two meals, she went into the restaurant and met Logan who was upset how the steak was cooked. An argument ensued and Natalie barred him from her restaurant. His brothers though were fed and took great delight that their brother was barred.
A lot happens after this which makes the book interesting and exciting, thoroughly recommend this read to you.

Natalia Spencer doesn’t have time for annoying customers, even gorgeous corporate raiders with muscles that just don’t stop until he saves her life in this exciting paranormal romance.

Alpha Logan Chase is intrigued by the feisty chef who kicked him out of her restaurant and intoxicated when he finally gets close enough to kiss her and the reader can’t help but get caught up in all the excitement as Logan saves Natalia and then risks losing her forever. The chemistry is sizzling and the passion is hot but this relationship has a bit of a problem because Natalia’s not so sure she wants to snuggle a guy who turns into a lion. These strong compelling characters draw the reader into the story while the fast paced smooth flowing plot thrills readers with lots of suspense, excitement and romance with tension building throughout the story due to a shady boss that creates quite a bit of mayhem. The well written scenes bring the story to life and the intriguing events ensure that there is never a dull moment.

Logan and his brothers have certainly captured my attention and I have to tell you that Natalia is one firecracker that make one alpha lion purr, so I was completely ensnared by their story and I am looking forward to reading the next City Shifter book.

This book started well...Natalia, a head chef in a restaurant ordered a customer out after he sent his steak back...twice! Said customer happens to be a lion shifter, other than being gobsmacked his interest also peaks towards her.
Both their characters were strong, good and fiesty initially but unfortunately that went downhill fast, leading to wonder if the big, sexy, scary lion was really a pussy cat???
Although they confessed their love after hardly a day or two I felt no connection between them at all. Disappointed. Found it free.

It's been a while since I read a good old fashioned paranormal romance of the shapeshifter variety and I enjoyed it well enough but I made the mistake of choosing to read a novella and, well, we all know how they go... Not enough words to truly undertake any world building or develop any depth in the characters. It also leads to a serious case of instalust followed by fast love so, yeah. Thrill of The Chase was a perfectly acceptable shifter romance but I wanted so much more than it gave me.

There's not much more to say other than that. There was a bit of a story, there was a little bit of danger, there was chemistry between Logan and Natalia, there was an instance of shapechanging and then there was some romantic drama before romantic declarations of love. It was that simple and it was fine... It passed an hour or so pleasantly reading but I won't remember it before too long.

This is the first book i have read by layla nash and i can honestly say i will be reading more of them, i loved this story and how it developed, i wont go into to many details as i think it would spoil the story all i will say is it is a really good shifter romance that involves a close knitt family(pride) of lion shifters each with their own unique personality and i look forward to read all about them
