The first and second book are amazing reads but personally for me, I would of liked to see some character growth at this stage. These books have a pattern that just repeats over and over again and it just got boring for me and made me angry that as much as he loved her nothing changed.
Maybe if I was continue reading that would happen but for me, it’s too little to late.
I really loved the ending, to Jesse especially. He was stated as a play boy at the beginning, but the final book, show the reasons for his stuff ups in his life. Loved the ending and loved this couple Jesse & Ava Ward and their beautiful families together.
PS: You know it's a really good read, when you stop all your work through the day and you can't put the book down and you are reading till 1am, your eyes are closing, as you are so exhausted, but you are fighting your sleep, as you want to keep going and find out what is happening next :) Happy Reading!!!!
1. It’s like I’m in a relationship with a dozen different men.
2. My beautiful, neurotic control freak
They related so well loved it.....
All I can say is WOW..WOW...WOW

The This Man Trilogy what can I say This Man reignited my passion for reading so will always have a place in my heart. I was in a bittersweet situation as l had waited months for the third and final instalment to be published but at the same time could not bring myself to read it straightaway l was desperate to read the conclusion and have the answers I needed answering but at the same time l wasn't ready to say goodbye to Jesse n Ava...so after a week of putting it off l began the final part of their journey and again fell straight back in love with these characters. I embarked on a roller coaster of a journey where l was happy, shocked, upset and happy again. For me l thought the book started well again l was gripped but then and it saddens me to say l was a little bored in the middle and it really pains me to say it with all the sex I found myself skipping paragraphs just to get back to the story which l will admit l found this the same with 50 shades but feel l need to be honest and then bang the final part of the book sucked me right back in. The ending for me tied everything up and although l didn't want it to end l feel Jodi delivered perfectly and kept true to the story she envisaged prior to writing. I loved the epilogue...
The This Man Trilogy is and will always be my number one trilogy and Jesse Ward will always be my number one!
Jodi thank you for following you dream and introducing me to Mr Jesse Ward...in doing so you allowed me to escape reality and heal through rekindling my love affair with reading and passion for books...take a bow and enjoy the journey of success which is well deserved basking in all the glory that is Jesse Ward...l cannot wait to see what the future holds for you and what delights you have for us to read next :-)
Yet again more passion, more trampling, more love, more obsession, more humour and omg talk about more twists!!!!!
I done even know where to begin! You get a lot more of Sam Kate and John in this, I love them..Sam is just an adorable twat lol, everyone wants a friend like Kate and as for the big guy John, he's just a massive big gentle giant! Can't forget Drew, don't really read much of him but what you do tells you that he's a reserved kinky gentleman who has good morals!
Jesse and Ava..I love them - end of!
I can't fault this book - though to be totally honest I missed the handcuffs in the last chapter!
And as for the epilogues, yet again perfection...I loved it. Was the perfect ending.
Can't praise or recommend it enough 💕💕💕💕
I know the first book was self published but it was clearly picked up by a publishing house so what exactly did the editor do? This series is full of typos, bad grammar and made up words which should all have picked up by a half decent editor. The plot line could have done with some editing too.
Jesse's life takes Ava on more twists and turns than a twisty, turny thing...and I found myself dipping back into Book 1 to remind myself and understand the spellbinding chemistry that captured them both from the outset. To be frank, I had to question why anyone Ava would stay when his actions and revelations about his past throws so much at her. The author really did dump everything, including the kitchen sink, into Jesse's history.
In as much as i wanted to love the Jesse character, there are sides to him which are not nice. I wanted a lovable and cheeky character, but essentially he is a selfish and self-centered character, and in this book I learnt more towards supporting Ava than fallin in love with Jesse. Ava does nit really bring much to the party, but Jesse has enough baggage for the pair of them and if he had of revealed all his past to her from the start, we wouldn't have had 3 books. So it is "The Jesse Show". I agree that it would have been nice for the development of other characters to have crossed into the storyline a bit more, but the books are really about Jesse and Ava, so to have that in the final instalment would have been a bit disjointed. I did enjoy the sweetness of them together when they took their holiday, but then I am a sucker for romance, hearts and flowers!
The Epilogue was weird and the author depicts the kids as miniature version of the adults, which is odd and the kids talking in the same language as the parents was just wrong!
Yes, it is like FSOG, but this is more believeable (and fab that it is set in England) and to be honest I kinda wish I had read this series first, then I wouldn't be comparing this to FSOG, but most definitely the other way round.
I usually delete read books from the kindle, but this set I will keep, like FSOG, and read again and again.
Three – two – one – Zero baby!
