To calculate the overall star rating and percentage breakdown by star, we don’t use a simple average. Instead, our system considers things like how recent a review is and if the reviewer bought the item on Amazon. It also analyses reviews to verify trustworthiness.
While the book finishes with Kotter's ideas about change management, the Meerkat parable gives us stereotypes that we can clearly recognise. As such it gives the "outside" view of the way our institution may be failing to adapt. Certainly worth a read whether your in business, education or anywhere that's dealing with new challenges.
It is often the first step that is the hardest. This book provides a way to slowly change the conversation in large, set in their way organisations. For something that will only take you a couple of hours to read it is packed with insights..
Great refresh on leadership, management, change and the importance of remaining agile while balancing the three. Recommend for aspiring leaders, and those wanting to rediscover the passion.
Business fables for adults has to be one of my favourite discoveries of late. It's a fantastic way of learning and remembering information and process though the use of narrative.
This book is a fantastic exploration of how organisations big and small cope with change in their environment, be it having more employees, to external threats from competition and market trouble.
Well worth a read, and it's a short story, so it doesn't take too long!

Certainly easy to digest, modern enough to be relevant and good to share. Anyone looking for self improvement without being too heavy should absorb this.
I bought this book to address a business issue. Whilst the vogue is for informality, empowerment etc, how do you marry that with accountability/responsibility? This book addressed that challenge head on. Whilst presented in an "easy to read"/fable way, that certainly allowed for quick and easy digestion. As importantly it also meant the key issues could quickly be relayed on to a broader audience, providing an excellent rationale for the new reporting lines that were then implemented.
4.0 out of 5 starsGood read - as it makes you think.

Easy quick read - I managed to read it on a business trip.
Thought provoking and a good starting point if you know that your team/ environment is stuck in 'business as usual' which is not going to be enough going forward.

Great short story to get the point across. Can be read as a bedtime story to the younger generation or as an informative insight to the mature generation.
