Product description

Product Description

Banished by his parents to the third planet in the Sol system, Prince Harht’ngh’chaali of the Second Grand Clan is completely fascinated by its inhabitants. Assuming the human name “Harry,” he tries to pass for a human to survive, but being human is so much harder than Harry expected. Humans are so confusing.

Adam Crawford isn’t looking for love. Financially secure and good-looking, he’s in a good place in his life. He doesn’t mean to fall in love with the quirky guy working at the coffee shop near his office. Harry is ridiculous—and ridiculously endearing. He wears ugly shirts and flowers in his hair, and he has a kind word for everyone. Adam falls hard and fast.

Little does he know that Harry isn’t what he seems and anything between them is impossible.

Star-crossed love between a human man and an alien prince from a world half a galaxy away.

This is a superbly written book.
I couldn't help falling just a little bit in love with Harry myself. He is a delightful character, sweet without being cloying and very innocent. Adam is like a rock, solid and steadfast. His patience without understanding Harry's unique situation is endearing. It was very satisfying to watch them fall in love.
The secondary characters were also engaging. In particular Harry's brother with his many different layer. I'm looking forward to learning more about him. I suspect that watching his vulnerabilities be exposed will be fascination.
The back story and plot of this book were also well developed and highly original. I feel that there is a huge amount of potential for more books in this universe.
This author is definitely going on my favourites list.

Adorable, hilarious, romantic and with a delightful universe and HEA, That Alien Feeling is one of my new favourite books. Alessandra Hazard has successfully created a wonderful piece of writing that will make you laugh, smile and cry at various points in its wonderful journey. I think it is hard to make a character more adorable than Harry.

It can be a difficult task to make a character naive and innocent without being annoying, and the author has successfully avoided that hazard (hah, puns.) The romance was cute, fun, a little bit sexy, and definitely wonderful all around. The world that was revealed was interesting. The characters felt real and well formed. The story was polished and well edited. It was the perfect length, and ended on a wonderful note.

Do read this! I think you'll be as charmed by That Alien Feeling as much as I was.

This book! I absolutely loved it. Harry was adorable. And Adam was perfect for him, although I feel as though I don't know him as well as I'd like to. I saw Harry so clearly, this very much being his story, but I wanted more of him and Adam together. Basically, this book just wasn't long enough--like Harry, I'm totally greedy. I just want more. Only got a glimpse of it, but I'm sure Adam is a total pervert and I definitely wanted to see all that unfold with Harry.

The alien world and history Alessandra created was amazing. There was a lot to learn about this new world but I don't recall ever feeling bogged down with mind-numbing exposition.

I cannot wait to read the next one, but while I do I'll definitely be checking out the rest of her work.

This is a very cute story. I'm not really into fantasy/sci-fi romance but there is quite a complex universe that Alessandra Hazard has created here and it will be interesting to see what she does with it in future.

5.0 out of 5 stars Alessandra Hazard delivers again 1 June 2017

It is always difficult to wait between her books, but really worth the wait. Fantastic start to another series and I cannot wait for the next one. The plot is really good, interesting and with enough twist without making it overly complicated and hard to track. I loved the characters, they were well developed and the dialogues are as ever very good. Not to mention the sizzle factor. Well worth the purchase.
Now it's time to finally finish the final book from Straight series, Ms. Hazard!

5.0 out of 5 stars ADORABLE!!! 7 June 2017

I felt compelled to write a review since i absolutely ADORED this book. First of all, the plot is interesting and different than most m/m genre stuff which is refreshing all on its own. But oh my god what a cute freaking story line! I loved the main character Harry, he was very likable and sweet. I enjoyed his relationship with the other main character, Adam, though towards the end of the book I started liking Adam less but his feelings towards Harry and the way he reacted to things was believable and thats what matters most. I'm dying for the sequel, I cant wait!!

5.0 out of 5 stars Light years away 15 June 2017

I've waited for this book for eons and it was everything I'd hopped for. The Alien Feeling, is about Harry, an alien who is sent to earth for being naughty. Harry, is the most naive individual you'll ever meet falls for a banker, Adam on accident and from there on it gets interesting. There's a protective big brother, who's hiding his share of secrets, a bond mate who not so secretly despises his intended and a Queen that favors one child over the others. To all those unfamiliar will Alessandra, she is a phenomenal writer. Alessandra's the author of the "Just a Bit" series, which is hands down one of they best series ever. Alessandra writes M/m romance like she's lives these experiences. She's trusty outta this world.

5.0 out of 5 stars I can't wait to read this again. 13 June 2017

This looks to be a fun start to a series. Harry & Adam have such a beautiful, innocent love. This book is a cool exploration of sexuality, the difficulties of true love on an intergalactic scale, and the dangers of telepathy. This is a good start to a series, as Harry and Adam do have a full, complete story, but there is room to explore larger plot elements and secondary characters.

This story doesn't have as much self-loathing as her "straight" series. I imagine Syen and Ksar will have something happen to them as she loves having love.
4.0 out of 5 stars Harry is so loveable 3 July 2017

There were a couple of really little things I wondered about ...but they never stopped me enjoying the story. However I did want to hear how the happiness went for Harry's best mate, his own brother, his home planet girlfriend, and human Jake - hopefully in some way within the group.
Harry, of course was adorable. I loved his dogged determination to stay on earth.
Towards the end, the book got a bit stagnant. Maybe I felt this because I couldn't wait to see how the romance between the alien and the human would work out - I was just so eager to get to the end.
Overall, a very good story.
