The padding is maybe marginally less thick than the Bose pads, the 'leather' is similar quality, maybe 95% as good. I've been using them every day for 6-8 hours a day for about a month now and no signs of wear and tear, so far so good.
The only downside is the noise isolation isn't quite as good as the originals. when I put on the headphones and switch on noise cancelling with no audio playing, the original ones were just that tiny bit quieter...maybe the foam is slightly less dense, or the fit on my head is slightly less tight meaning a little bit more noise sneaks through. Once audio is playing there isn't any hint of background noise. This isn't a huge criticism, but there is enough of a difference to notice it for me.
At half the price of the original Bose pads, yes definitely value for money, and no more difficult to fit than them either.
I have noticed that authentic ones provide a much better seal around your ears, but for half the price these are definitely worth it. I have been using these for a while and are showing no signs of wear.
DON'T BUY THIS FOR QC35 II's
Cannot clip under all hooks.
Foam is firm and comfortable otherwise, but would recommend a different after market product.
