The basic premise of the story revolves around Pete and Sophie who consider themselves each other’s best friend… or so they think. Is it friendship or is there more? Should there be more? Maybe there is but there really isn’t because the other person is not interested. Or maybe only the other person is interested. What is the right thing to do? The answer to these questions and more eventually become evident to Pete and Sophie but not without some painful, albeit eye-opening, lessons in life. The author lightens the main theme with humor, which makes the story interesting and fun. Chapter after chapter, I was left in suspense as to what would happen next. I lost a few good hours of sleep reading this book, thanks to the “what’s going to happen next?” feeling I got after every chapter I read. Overall, this is a great story that is well written and fun to read. Highly recommended!
What a great read! This book had several laugh out loud moments! It was very well written and flawlessly written!
The story grabs, and it connects us to the action from the first word and never lets go. Beautiful use of phrase and pace gave the audience an absolutely wonderful and emotionally believable ride to discovering what we want is too often right in front of us. The reader walks away feeling so very good about life and that is romance, at least for this reader.
Great, great read.
I am so proud of you Ara!
