‘Tempting Brooke’ is a novella in the Big Sky series by one of my go to writers Kristen Proby. I actually have enjoyed all of her series but this is one of my favourites. That being said you can read this as a complete standalone. Brooke was introduced previously but only briefly in the last book, ‘Kissing Jenna’.
Brooke owns a flower shop in downtown Cunningham Falls, Montana she loves her job and the community - everyone knows and loves her and she loves her business. When she gets a letter stating she needs to vacate the premises she is shocked and devastated.
Brody grew up in Cunningham Falls but left the minute he could and has never looked back. The town doesn't hold good memories except for Brooke...
Brooke and Brody were best friends growing up and seeing each other after ten years brings a lot of feelings they didn't expect. “I’m sorry if I hurt your feelings.”
“You did that long before you left,” I reply and watch as he frowns and looks down at the counter.’
I loved this book it’s adorable, sexy, and fun. It’s a fast read filled with heart, as only Kristen Proby knows how to do. As well as a great romance, I loved getting a glimpse into the lives of the characters of the town. Another 5 Stars from me.
