This book is really a short story, it started out fine, then took massive leaps , in the story, once over that shock turned the page only to find the ending, felt quite bewildered and frustrated

For anyone who has ever questioned whether it is better to just play it safe and do what everyone else expects of you, or to take risks and make yourself happy, this story is for you. Marietta, Montana is like any typical small town, everybody knows everybody and nothing stays secret for more than a couple of minutes.
I really found Chelsea's character likable. She grew up in Marietta her whole life and never dreamed of leaving. She is a history teacher at the local school and dresses extremely conservatively. She spends her time volunteering and trying to keep her sometimes obsessive mother happy and do whatever it takes to keep the town gossip from being about her.
Then when a stranger, Jasper, moves into the old depot that Chelsea's mother, and therefore Chelsea, wanted to turn into a museum to honor their family heritage, her world gets turned upside down. She is determined to convince Jasper that the depot should be a museum, rather than the microbrewery he was planning on using the building for.
Jasper was also a very likable character. I wasn't sure how he would come across considering he is filthy rich and handsome. But he seemed happy to have finally found someone, Chelsea, who wasn't after him for his money. In fact, she wasn't after him at all. But he is the type of person who doesn't really care what other people think about him. But yet he doesn't take that strong self-image and let it go to his head.
The story played out was wonderfully. The way Chelsea struggles with the ingrained small town mentality of trying to avoid gossip and balancing that with the feelings Jasper stirs inside of her and the dynamic with her mother was great. I really enjoyed how the love scenes were hot without being obscene, just the right amount of spice.
I loved this book and I'm really looking forward to reading the rest of the Copper Mountain Rodeo novellas.

Chelsea is fine living life in her hometown, teaching, and living up to her mother's standards. Of course, this means accepting a fate that would leave her without a man in her future.
Jasper is looking for a place to finally call home after learning money can't buy happiness, he's starting over in Montana, for now.
They're not each other's type--turns out, they're perfect for each other. From the moment they met, there's a spark, then he dares her to take a walk on the wild side and throw caution to the wind. Their whirlwind, hot, and crazy romance awakens a part in each of them they didn't know they had. Apart, they're strong individuals, together, they're a force to be reckoned with and become the talk of the town. Good and bad. They have to decide if fiery passions is all they have, or can they find love and survive the give and take of a relationship? Jasper would have to put down roots, and Chelsea must learn to be her own person.
Read it to find out if there's a "happily ever after" in Montana! This is the first in a series of books set in Montana, and it's sure to make you want to read the rest.

Chelsea Crawford Collier has lived in Marietta Montana all her life. She lives a simple life with her mother and teaching high school history. Her big dream is making the old railway depot into a museum named after her family, one of the longest remaining families in Marietta.
Jasper Flint, a self made millionaire from Texas, comes to town with his own dreams of making the depot into a microbrewery.
They become more then friends pretty quick, but can they put their differences aside to create a trusting, long term relationship? They both come from totally different worlds and don't see eye to eye on the future of the depot. Lots of gossip in the town causes Chelsea to think hard about the fling they are having. What will she do? What will become of the depot?
This was a sweet fast paced story which I really enjoyed.

Spontaneous combustion is what happens when you cross a jaded, swoon worthy and knows it kind of guy and a rule-following, history spouting, good girl......Well kind of. There were definitely sparks flying from the first encounter. I was smitten with these characters from page 1. I found Jasper and Chelsea to be very real and likeable. Megan Crane always wows me with her characters voice and in Tempt Me Cowboy, they were spot on. Even though this is a novella, Crane does an excellent job of giving us the complete story. You get a feel for where the characters have been and where they are going. Even though part of me wanted it to be longer (probably because I think I have a little crush on Jasper,) I actually believe it was just right! TMC is the first of 4 novellas (in the Copper Mountain Rodeo series)that are part of new group of fantastic authors called Montana Born Books. I know that I am looking forward reading more from them.

Tempt Me, Cowboy by Megan Crane is an easy to read cowboy story. It's the first story from Megan Crane that I have ever read but it surely won't be the last. It's a lovely story with great characters.
It's set in a lovely small town in Montana and the views that are described are breathtaking. It feels like a great historic town and you are drawn into the characters of the town as well as the town itself. It's told from Jaspers side of view and it's the first time I have read a story narrated by a man.
It's a short story but worth reading. You are caught up in the story when you are a few chapters in. It took me two chapters to be caught up in the story. The first two took me a while to read but then the story flows.

Chelsea Crawford Collier has lived her entire life in Marietta Montana and while she may be only thirty she dresses and acts twice her age, she lives at home with her mother, teaches history at the local school and has settled into her life. Her life may not be exciting or particularly interesting but it's hers and she's happy, or so she thinks until she meets Jasper Flint the new owner of the Marietta Railway Depot who also happens to be handsome, incredibly rich and dangerous, especially where Chelsea is concerned.
This is a relatively short book at only 103 pages but there's a lot in there, the scene is set well, we get a real feeling of small town life and the characters are really good I have to admit this book is better than I'd expected, will I read the next one...yes I think I will.
I've just been checking out the next book and I've found 'Mothers Day Romance Bundle' where you get 12 books for £1.82, it includes Tempt Me, Promise Me, Christmas at Copper Mountain and Home for Christmas ( a Copper Mountain Christmas) it's just a shame that Take Me, Cowboy isn't on there since it's the next book in this series.

Chelsea is living her mundane life without love, teaching in her hometown, just as her mother planned. Billionaire Jasper, fed up with the pace of his life, moves to her town. Their romance begins, and Chelsea becomes the talk of the town. A really nice story, cant wait for the rest of the series.

I’ve been a huge fan of anything Marietta, Montana related. I discovered this lovely and lively small town a few years ago and I simply cannot get enough of the romances that happen here. Admittedly, I came into this fictional town sort of mid-stream, and I’m slowly going back to the earlier series that I haven’t read or completed as of yet. Which brings us to The 75th Copper Mountain Rodeo series, and Tempt Me, Cowboy.
I cannot tell you the last time I wanted to actually gush about a book, especially in a book review. Yet I’m sorely tempted right now… but I’ll restrain myself as much as I can. The one bit of waxing poetic that I’m going to allow myself is this: Chelsea and Jasper’s romance reminded me of a rose bud, not yet in bloom but slowly over time unfolding into a beautiful, stunning rose. Watching Chelsea discover her true self, and seeing Jasper come to realize just what he’s found in this small town was priceless. And this is a story that is going to stay with me for a long time.
Jasper has more money than a man could possibly spend in a lifetime. What he’s looking for can be found in this small town, starting a brewery and simply enjoying a slower paced life. He wasn’t looking to be struck with a lightening bolt, but then who ever is. Chelsea is a small town history teacher, a woman who has had her family’s history as one of the founding families of Marietta pounded into her head her entire life. Her mother lives by and through that ancestral connection and has tried, in many ways, to form Chelsea after herself. It’s partially worked for Chelsea dresses the part and acts the part of a woman ten years or more older than she actually is. When she must confront the new owner of the railroad depot she has no idea of how freeing this man will make her feel, how much her life is about to change or the possibility that a happy forever more is in sight.
I completely enjoyed Tempt Me, Cowboy. It was a unique reading experience, in that I think I smiled throughout most of this book. And even at the few rough patches, I didn’t lose hope for one second. If you’re looking for a story that will touch your heart – try this one on for size. I think you’ll find it’s a perfect fit.
