5.0 out of 5 stars Taz is back and better than ever!!! 1 April 2015
By The Pleasure of Reading Today - Published on
Format: Kindle Edition
Taz is still working for the FBI but he's keeping a low profile these days. He's a dedicated father, a loving husband, and his life is good.

But when Slate comes to him with a secret mission he can't refuse, he embarks in a journey that brings regrets and very bumpy ride when it comes to his family life.

Seeing Lyndsey go from not knowing if her husband was alive to having a almost stranger come back to her is simply heartbreaking. Having these two well adjusted people, a perfectly happy couple go through the things they go through here is a hard pill to swallow.

This is a more political, current events storyline than the other books in the G-Men series but the ability of the author to transport the reader to the different situations with some well researched facts, make the story more believable and it pulls you into the heart of the matter.

They are some very cute moments when it came to situations with the kids, and they were some moments that brought tears to my eyes when it came to Lyndsey and Taz to start rebuilding their relationship. Marriage is not an easy thing for any couple but when it comes to the heart of it, only people who really love each other and who are committed to each other will survive the worst life throws at them.

Andrea portrays what I think is are very realistic situations for some of the men and women who work for the government. Their lives are sometimes torn between the love and commitment to their families and their commitment to their jobs.

If you're a fan of the G-Men series Taz is a MUST read. You'll laugh, you'll cringe, it'll bring tears to your eyes, but most importantly, you will be satisfied when you finish this story.

5.0 out of 5 stars Amazing Continuation of a Fabulous Series!!! 31 March 2015
By Ashley S. - Published on
Format: Kindle Edition
New FAVORITE book of 2015? Yep – I think so!!! This book is 6+++ stars for me, mostly because it threw me for such a loop, completely had me guessing the wrong thing until the very end and, of course, raised all kinds of hotness with the sex scenes, but especially the fantastic quotes. “That’s it. Keep squeezing my c**k, baby. Take it all.” Um, yeah, okay Taz –just tell me where you want me! ;)

We start the book basically where we left off in G-Men, The Series (if you haven’t read this yet, pick it up on Pre-Order now!) with Taz and his wife, Lindsey, enjoying their blissfully happy life together. Then, as the Prologue states, it all changes in the blink of an eye or, rather, with the sip of a beer. Taz is recruited for a secret mission because of his background and the circumstances of who the FBI is hunting. I agree with him when he says he would have not taken the assignment if he knew what was going to happen. Hindsight is definitely 20/20 in this instance and you know something is about to go very wrong.

“Is he alive?” Oh my, this seriously broke my heart. The ultimate fear of losing a loved one/spouse came through with so much emotion in this moment that you couldn’t help but be affected. You knew right then and there that it would be a struggle for everyone involved to get back to a ‘normal’ life. “He seems like a stranger…like someone else.” Not only does this stir up sadness, but it also opens up so many other avenues with which the plot line can take. I was nervous with the introduction of new characters, but had no idea that Andrea would throw me that off course. Throughout this entire book, you think you know what lies around the next bend, but you really have no idea. I had a few jaw dropping moments and ones where I was literally yelling at my Kindle.

What Andrea does with all of her characters is amazing. I felt so connected with each one of them. I laughed, I cried, I felt as completely hopeless as the h at times. This, to me, is the sign of a truly great book. The fact that she stirs so many emotions inside you throughout is what kept me intrigued from start to finish.

Like the G-Men series, Taz just proves to me what a fabulous author Andrea is and how she can transform characters, keep you guessing with all of the secrets and keep you on the edge with the suspense. I just hope that Ms. Smith decides to give us some more G-Men – I simply can’t get enough!

5.0 out of 5 stars AMAZING!!!! 30 March 2015

OMG!!! I haved loved Taz ever since I read Diamond Girl, then we got Love Plus One and fell even harder for him. Now we got more Taz and this book is so good. This one will take you on an emotional ride and by the end you will know what the power of true love can do and overcome. Lindsey and Taz go through a really rough patch and just when you think they won't make it their love for one another overpowers all that is stacked against them. I just loved this book and it shows just how awesome an author Andrea Smith is, with her writing you feel every single emotion the characters have and everything written is so believable you just can't help but be sucked in and not be able to put the book down. I love me some Taz and this book just shows you why is he is such a hot, sexy, sweet alpha male.

4.0 out of 5 stars It was sexy, suspenseful, and flowed nicely page by page. 31 March 2015

I'm a complete newbie to Andrea Smith's G-Man series, so I was a little worried going into TAZ with no previous experience with these characters. I found out quickly that I had nothing to worry about. It read great as a standalone for me. With the events that happen in TAZ, it is really like getting to know these characters all over again. I've had tons of recommendations for this series, so I was thrilled to have the opportunity to read an early copy of the book. My conclusion is that Andrea Smith writes angsty romance with a twist. It was sexy, suspenseful, and flowed nicely page by page. Romance readers, this is an author you want to keep an eye for. Her way of writing was intensely passionate and I connected emotionally with these characters.

I guess the phrase, happily ever after, was spoken too soon for Taz and Lindsey. Forces beyond their control had them searching for their happily ever after once again. TAZ is somewhat of a second chance love story that had me pretty emotional the whole way through. This is a love story about a couple who have been to Hell and back and have only come out stronger because of it. This is about feeling powerless but determined to make your heart whole again no matter what it takes. It was a pleasure to follow along on this journey back to an epic kind of love. This story will tear you apart emotionally, but will end up leaving you with all the warm and fuzzies that you crave. I loved these characters so much, that there is a pretty good chance I will check out the rest of the series.

5.0 out of 5 stars Taz 27 June 2015
By Michelle Mauer - Published on
Format: Kindle Edition Verified Purchase
Taz is one fine G-Man. He's a very dedicated husband and father, until he's asked to leave his spot in the BAU and go undercover. Slate is doing the asking and how can you tell your brother "no"?

This mission is pretty much top secret, so he stretches the truth in his tail to Lindsey. He is gone for a long time and bad things begin to happen to him and Lindsey seems to learn about it. Luckily, Taz is finally saved, but he doesn't remember who he is or the life he left behind. Taz slowly starts to get memories back and Lindsey works on healing, also.

Be ready to laugh and cry because I sure did. I felt the love that they shared, the hurt and pain they both suffered. Take the chance and read this!!
