5.0 out of 5 stars Taz, the man, a legend 4 April 2015

I fell in love with Taz in "Love Plus One". So I was intrigued and delighted with the author announced that Taz was getting another book. With that being said, Ms. Smith provided promised that those who loved Taz were going to fall deeper for him, and she delivered. I love all the G-Men, hands down, Trace "Taz" Matthews will always be my favorite and this story confirmed it.

Was the story necessary? Yes.
Was this a repetitive of the original story? No, far from actually.
So what makes this story so unique? This story about a man as whole. He's an agent, a husband, and a father. In a blink of an eye things change, life changes, and you lose sight of who you are. Is it more important to be an agent or a family man? Can he be both?

What I loved even more about this story is the realism. I loved that Lindsey was stronger, more alert. I liked that Ms. Smith portrayed her as who she is, the wife of man who an agent. People forget that it takes a special type of woman who stands by a man who put his life on the line for others. He puts his life and that of his family.

If you truly loved the G-Men series, this will affirm your appreciation for the series. It's a must read because Taz has something to teach us all.

5.0 out of 5 stars I have to commend Andrea for the bold writing. It takes a talented author to pull this off. I was truly amazed. 31 March 2015

Taz is the latest release in the G-Men series by Andrea Smith. I have to say this book took me completely by surprised and rendered me speechless. Andrea did something gutsy, unheard of , and risky. She took this couple to a complete new level. They were already living their HEA. Readers were happy with their story. They were invested in this couple's journey. This couple built a solid foundation and were living the dream. Then with one stroke of the pen ( or should I say keyboard) Andrea brought their world crumbling down. It was like a tornado whooshing through their life and leaving despair and devastation. The only thing they had to hang onto was the solid foundation they had worked so diligently to build.

The book starts out with Taz going about his normal day. He is reveling in the family he and Lindsey have created. He adores his wife and loves his children. Life is good until he gets one phone call. A phone call that makes him meet Slate for a beer. One sip of beer and his life is changed. He is recruited for a sensitive mission because of his background, his expertise, and the person the FBI is hunting. It will be the beginning of the storm that will tear his life apart. It could ruin his relationship with Lindsey and destroy his family.

Without saying too much more and giving a ton of spoilers away I will say this. Taz said he would of never taken this mission if he knew what was going to happen to his life. He would of walked away. Hindsight is definitely not conducive in this situation. The moment he took this mission the reader had a sense that something was going to go very wrong.

The emotional trauma that all the characters go through is devastating. The destruction of Taz and Lindsey's life broke my heart. Andrea had the guts to break these very strong people. But they reared their heads and proved to her that they were stronger than what she originally created. They were not going to let her take away their HEA. Instead they redefined the meaning and made it more. They rebuilt their love, reassembled their life, and made their own destiny.

I have to commend Andrea for the bold writing. It takes a talented author to pull this off. I was truly amazed.

I highly recommend Taz by Andrea Smith. Although it is part of the G-Men series, I think a reader new to this series could easily pick this book up and become as involved in the story as the seasoned reader of this series.

5.0 out of 5 stars Taz 27 June 2015

Taz is one fine G-Man. He's a very dedicated husband and father, until he's asked to leave his spot in the BAU and go undercover. Slate is doing the asking and how can you tell your brother "no"?

This mission is pretty much top secret, so he stretches the truth in his tail to Lindsey. He is gone for a long time and bad things begin to happen to him and Lindsey seems to learn about it. Luckily, Taz is finally saved, but he doesn't remember who he is or the life he left behind. Taz slowly starts to get memories back and Lindsey works on healing, also.

Be ready to laugh and cry because I sure did. I felt the love that they shared, the hurt and pain they both suffered. Take the chance and read this!!

5.0 out of 5 stars Who Needs Criminal Minds when we have The G-Men Series 2 April 2015

Taz..aka Trace Mathews .... Or hunky FBI agent and PhD and loving father, and sexy hot husband to Lindsay. These are the same characters from "Love plus One book 2 in the GMen series. Just like the previous books in the series I as impressed by authenticity Andrea Smith brought to the story. she even has a really nice dedication to the real agents of the FBI, Counter intelligence and other law enforcement men and women who work tirelessly to keep our country safe. But for the purposes of our story we get the private lives too. The story is a continuation or "catching up" if you will from the story started in Love +1... the synopsis will give you the deets so I won't regurgitate them here, I'm here to tell you the action/suspense is excellent, there's laughter and tears, there is love and passion and my favorite part is I get to enjoy the characters from Diamond Girl and Love+1 one more time!
One click it you won't be sorry...if you don't have the series..get it now and enjoy some truly excellent story telling!
My star, law enforcement action πŸš“ action and hotness πŸ”₯ rating is as follows...

4.0 out of 5 stars Taz and Lindsey.. 4 April 2015

I’m on the fence with this one. I’ve always enjoyed this series and Taz and Lindsey went through so much in their book Love Plus One that they deserved the HEA they got at the end. I usually look forward to getting another book about a favorite couple to see where they are. I don’t even mind some angst in a new book but I wasn’t fond of what was used to be the main issue that almost broke up their marriage in this one. In thinking back now even if that part would have been left out the book would still have worked on providing enough angst to cause a problem in their marriage. Taz taking the undercover job knowing he was going to be away from his wife and kids for weeks, then his cover being blown and his losing his memory due to the drugs being injected into him. I liked that the bad guys even tied back to Lindsey’s father story and we finally got complete resolution to that. I get that the overall picture here was to show that love does conquer all and that the love Taz and Lindsey have for each other was strong enough to withstand another horrible circumstance but the cheating even though he didn’t know he was cheating could have been left out.
