I love to research, to make urban fantasy worlds real, to bring a little of the paranormal into our world. Even in "Winning the Highlander's Heart" the heroine feels she is cursed and she has second sight. But I try to do it in a way that feels real, and not fantasized. :)

Once again Terry Spear captures your imagination and takes you away on an adventure, filled with action, mystery and romance. She has a way of telling a story that makes you feel as if your part of it as you read along. It is such a wonderful talent. Leyton and Kate have a couple of different things going on in this story, throwing in characters from the past two books so that rounds it out, however it is a stand alone book and you will enjoy it even if you did not read the other two.

Love all her shifter books, you can't go wrong picking up a book with her name on it!

This book was just as awesome as the first two!! Terry takes you on a iwld adventure with Doc Kate who meets up with a problem….or not?? The twists and turns kept me reading to see what happens next. Read it in two days. I have to say I was right there with them in the flood as Leyton reached for each tree to get out of the water to go rescue Kate who was hanging on for dear life. I saw the scene unfold in front of my eyes as it happened!! That is how Terry’s writings grab me, I am right there with the characters!! She sure makes you think about all that hotness in Yuma Town!! Cannot wait for book 4 now.

Love Terry's writing and this series. Great book. Leyton is undercover and wounded, Kate is asleep at the clinic when Leyton sneaks in. He kidnaps Kate and they wind up saving each other. Loved how the whole town gets involved!! The curve with Stryker is nice!! Can't wait to read about Travis and the new office in town!. Dan & Dottie??? Can't wait to read that story.
