Product Description

As the Dating Guy on L.A.'s top morning show, I give the single guy's perspective on dating, love, and sex—and I give great advice. Everyone's hooking up…well, except for me. Sure, I can get any woman I want, but I've got a "no relationship" clause in my contract and the only woman I want has "relationship" written all over her. Probably stamped on her ass, too. And wouldn't I like to confirm that.

Unfortunately, she wants nothing to do with me. At all. Something about the next Ice Age might have even come up in her rebuttal. Adorable. Because she's determined to ignore what one simple kiss proved: she wants me as badly as I want her.

Everything in me is screaming to go after her, but I've got a secret that I'm fairly certain will end up with her roasting my nuts over an open fire. So, job on the line? Check. Nuts on the line? Check. Can't get her out of my head? Nail…meet coffin. But what a way to go…

Mateo Gallagher is used to getting any woman he wants, but Teague Watters doesn't succumb to his charm the way women normally do. Determined to get to know her, he decides to befriend her. But when things begin to become so much more, Mateo has a huge decision to make. Will he choose his job, which has a 'no relationship' clause in the contract; or a chance at forever after with the woman he's falling in love with?

If you've never read a book by Ms. Bielman, then you're missing out on some incredible reading, and this story was no different. Truly, it was a beguiling and fast-paced read encompassing fan-your-face moments (can I just say...hello, Wishing Well); compelling dialogue that had me laughing at times because the hero certainly knows how good he is when it comes to women; and captivating main and secondary characters that kept me entertained due to their back stories and the tight bonds of friendship that illustrate they support each other through thick and thin.

As for the main characters, I absolutely loved both the hero and heroine. Mateo and Teague have been hurt before and it's understandable why they're not interested in relationships. Yet, it's hard for the pair to stay away from each other when there's so much chemistry between them, and Mateo is determined to win her over, no matter how much of a challenge he faces. Will Teague succumb to his charm? How long will it take before he wins her over? Moreover, Mateo was a super hot hero that charmed me from start to finish. He has an interesting job that needs him to remain single to be able to give the best advice he can as the Dating Guy on LA's top morning show. However, I liked the struggles Mateo faced in trying to remain true to his contract, as Teague was too much of a temptation.

Robin Bielman is a new author for me and one I swear I'm going to indulge in again. A complete feel good read. I fell in love with ALL the characters, they were funny, straight up, great people. The storyline is always a favourite with guy, complete commitment phobe, meets cute, adorable girl and basically falls in love. A couple of little twists within the storyline and I was completely addicted from the getgo. Mateo is a straight up, super nice, super sexy, if not overly confident guy, and our lead girl, Teague, is quiet, sexy, intelligent and in the process of becoming independent and finding her backbone, in this cute rom com. A light easy read, with some great chemistry and sexy times. A thoroughly enjoyable book.
I was provided with an advanced copy of this book from the publisher via NetGalley in exchange for an honest review.

Talk British to Me (Wherever You Go) by Robin Bielman
This is Mateo and Teague's story.

This was a fun and steamy romance. I fell in love with Teague and Mateo. So, if you like a fun romance with a lot of spice then this book is for you.

I laughed so much reading Teague and Mateo's story. They both had things that they thought they wanted in life. Sometimes in life we don't see what's right in front of us. Will Teague and Mateo take a chance on love or let it pass them by? You just need to read their story.

FYI, contains mature content.  I voluntarily reviewed an Advance Reader Copy of this book.

I had such a good time reading Talk British To Me by Robin Bielman.

The writing was well done, the storyline was engaging and the characters Mateo and Teague were likable and very relatable.

I loved watching them get to know each other, from their first meeting I knew these two were going to entertain me. I enjoyed their friendship, I loved watching them open up themselves to each other and how their friendship grew to love.
These two might not have been looking for love but when you meet that special one you can't help but follow your heart.

It's no secret I'm a huge fan of author Robin Bielman and her writing. I love her passion, I love her storytelling and I love her beautiful heart. And for me she's once again delivered a heartwarming and entertaining read in Talk British to Me.

5.0 out of 5 stars I Know the Score & It’s Five BLOODY Stars! 20 June 2017

I adore this author, and I’ve read everything she’s ever written, but after this one I gotta say if you think you know Robin Bielman, think again. She’s upped her game to a whole ‘nother level with Talk British to Me! Hold on to your e-reader and prepare for a fun, sexy, bloody brilliant ride.

Mateo and Teague’s story sizzles with the thrills and angst of figuring out careers, friendship and love, Millennial-style. It’s complicated, right? But underneath the wild shenanigans, crazy bosses, and hot hook-ups, there’s a boy-meets-girl story as classic as the Union Jack.

Ah, Mateo. Cocky as hell, and charming as sin. You won’t be able to resist him. Here’s a glimpse as to why:

“I’m not kissing you.”
“And you want to. You’re bummed you missed your chance.”

“I’ve done the British thing a couple of times in bars, and the result is women want to worship me. On their knees in the nearest private spot. It’s a burden I have to live with.”

And Teague gives it right back, in laugh-out-loud doses. She’s adorkable, and she knows it.

I hated to reach ‘The End,’ but the cast of secondary characters like Harper, Levi and Elliott give me hope there’s more sexy fun to come!

I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE this book! If you crave a romance with laughing out loud, go read Talk British to Me ASAP! You will not be disappointed.

I found myself wanting to be friends with the characters in this book, or I could just go for being Teague! Teague recently moved to LA (not to become an actress!) to navigate her way to become a travel photographer while becoming independent on her own in a new city. She is handed this glamorous new job, which has a little Devil Wears Prada in the scenario! Enter L.A.’s Dating Guy and this makes a GREAT, ADDICTIVE read that you will want to devour!

***I was given the opportunity to read this ARC for an honest review***

I'll be honest, what drew me to this book was the possibility of a British character. Who can resist a British accent? But I wasn't disappointed. I was glued to this book! I couldn't put it down. I barely put it down enough to sleep. And then I was reliving the story line in my thoughts.

Talk British To Me, has all the key points that I love in a romance story.

The meet-cute between the two main characters. (I love it when the don't know each other at all and they need to develop the feelings that they end up having for each other!)
The 2nd chance meeting.
The reasons why they can't or shouldn't see/get to know each other.
What seems to be fate bringing them together.
The crux of the situation that leads them to separating.
The realization that they can't live without each other. Or Fate stepping in again.
Teague Watters, is a recent college graduate that is still looking for her "career". She has a degree in Mathematics, and becoming a teacher didn't work out as she hoped it would. She is now living in LA with her best friend, Harper. They met as roommates in college Freshman year and have been together ever since. Teague has decided that she wants to be a travel blogger (I've thought of this too...) and is taking online classes in doing just that. In the meantime, she is working at a coffee house to make ends meet. She want to make or break it on her own.

Matao Gallagher, the son of  Gabrielle Gallagher and former college soccer star for the UCLA Bruins. He coaches a Kids and Kicks, a soccer program for under privileged youth in LA. He is also the voice behind, Bennett, the British playboy "The Dating Guy" that gives tips on how to woo women. His morning radio show comes on at 8:00am and has his listeners mesmerized as he gives his tips for the day.

What brings this all together is the daily coffee fix that Teague takes up to Gabrielle Gallagher's office. She is a wedding planner, the most sought after planner in all of California. Her assistant is nowhere to be found and Gabrielle needs to have some items picked up. The person to get this task is the first person she sees, Teague with the coffee drinks.

The angst that Teague couldn't find out Matao's alter ego and Matao had been warned off by his mother to stay away from Teague. But the attraction between the two couldn't be avoided. They enjoyed spending time together. Matao taking Teague to locations in LA (since she grew up in Oregon) giving her something to write for her travel blog.

I highly recommend this book! This story is awesome and a great read! I'm looking into more stories by this author!
