2.0 out of 5 stars Disappointing ... Good story concept but grammar mistakes are killing it. 24 August 2016

I was torn over giving this a 2 or 3 star--in part because I do like the story--but the problems found in the other books of this series are more noticeable in this one, and they were harder to ignore or forgive while reading. The grammar and punctuation is worse and many of the wrong word usages or missing words not only increase in frequency, but they start to take away from the story: i.e., not once does the author use "barely" (although she clearly means to) and instead uses "barley" ... last I checked barley is a grain and barely is minimal or not quite.

This second book has a lot of good material with some interesting plot developments. In some ways, although Bailey suffers physically and battles her inner demons there are moments it's easier to dislike her as a character. Some of her teasing is mean and borderline screaming her insecurities at every turn; she becomes a self-fulfilling prophecy and brings on a lot of her problems with Knox. But Knox's character becomes stronger even though he remains flawed, and he still remains likeable. By this point in the story it seems he's actually trying harder than Bailey and is more committed to the relationship, and Bailey's issues seem to try overriding or diminishing the strength Knox is showing. That's not to say he doesn't make mistakes. Overall the story still has my interest and I will read book three. I'm the type of reader who wants to know how a story ends, unless the book is so horrible on all levels that I can't subject myself to the torture of reading it.

This author has potential, a good imagination, and this series could be a solid 4 or 5 stars if the author at least published a book that isn't a mediocre finished product.

5.0 out of 5 stars Great Series! 9 June 2014
By Kindle Customer - Published on Amazon.com

This is a great series.

Max and Knox are identical twins and both are hot bartenders and singers at their uncle's bar.

Enter Bailey and her friend Paige and the boys don't know what to do.

Bailey and Knox have a relationship that takes them on so many ups and downs and truly tests their love for each other.

Paige and Max and their on and off again relationship also tests it's limits throughout this series.

This cast of four face off against crazed ex-girlfriends, intense stalkers, and several trips to the trauma ward of the hospital.

These books are great reads that will leaving you wondering what will happen to these couples next and if their love for each other will be enough to pull them through.

3.0 out of 5 stars Like the books but the proofreading mistakes are distracting. 8 October 2014

Love the books and story. It has everything love, sex, drama, fun. The thing I did not like about either book is the editing. I do not know if this author has a proofreader or not. If the author does they need to get another one. If they do not they need to get one. I found the mistakes distracting and once in awhile made me mad.
