Product Description

From USA Today bestselling author Meghan March comes a hot new standalone second chance romance.

We fell in love on a beach, got married in paradise, and rode off into the sunset. It should have been perfect, but saying “I do” doesn’t guarantee a happily-ever-after.
Two years later, I barely recognize either of us behind the walls we’ve built.
It’s time to bring it full circle. Back to a tropical paradise. Back to find out if we can still make this work.
I’m not willing to give her up, but to save us, I have to risk everything.
Two damaged people.
Countless secrets.
The fight of our lives.
We might be broken, but we’re not done.

Take Me Back is a standalone second chance romance, not related to any series.

The scenario of Take Me Back was: a marriage in tatters, a husband with a double life and a wife who hid her pain and loss by obsessing over work. Mix in the exotic location of Belize for a holiday to rekindle their love, a little humour, suspence, action and strong chemistry between the two gorgeous main characters (Kat and Dane) and Meghan March has another best seller.
I'll be honest and admit, I couldn’t get into the book at first, but soon the plot picked up pace and the reveals made the story interesting. Once the emotions were stirred, I started to feel connected to Kat and Dane. Then the intrigue/shocks/drama began and it became a real page-turner - passionate and touching, too.
The characters are well developed (secondary ones, too). Dane was a conflicted man, riddled with guilt. He was strong, compassionate and a major alpha. Kat was sweet, but lost and troubled. Dane was determined to save their marriage, so they both needed to open up and trust each other. Dane stepped up to be a hero and Kat had to dig deep and find the courage and conviction she never knew she had. The important things in life suddenly became crystal clear.
Take Me Back had a slightly different feel from Meghan's other books: a young married couple, post-the-buzz of budding love, text that was a combination of present and past tense and short chapters that used dual POVs for flashbacks and present day. Meghan created a female workaholic to portray Kat's persona, too (not a male). I grew to love this book and I'm a big fan of Meghan's 'Beneath' series, but Take Me Back was refreshingly different to what I expected. Except for the naughty bits, it had a good, old fashioned aventure/suspence/romance feel (I mean that as a high compliment). I recommend it to readers who like this genre or fans of Meghan's.

Meghan March does not disappoint in Take Me Back! Beautiful story with an unexpected twist, which just adds to the intrigue of the story. I did not want this book to end! I think this storyline has so much potential to be a new series, (hint hint), lots of characters who could have their own story. Loved this book!

This is one of those books that just reels you in from the very start.

It's really fast paced, a story full of suspense, love and passion, regret and two characters perfect for each other. The chapters are quite short and change between the two leads frequently which is a really good way to get an insight into each characters mindset.

Dane is super alpha and super hot, he's a total badass and I loved him from the start. Kat is floundering, she's had an incredibly hard few years, the two are at the stage in their marriage that if they don't fight for each other something has to break.

They've both got a great attitude towards what they want to achieve. It's really hard to keep this a spoiler free review, with everything that happens in the book its really hard not to reference it. This is definitely a story you need to go into with no preconceived ideas. The less you know the better the twists and turns are.
