Purchased for an older PC running linux. Despite the box saying it would run on Linux Kernel (2.6.18 - 3.10.10) haven't managed to get it to work yet. Had it working on my Mac and PC laptop, so it's obviously me and a setting problem.
Looks solid, 3 year warranty - just not running on any of my Linux machines....

Online support for PC and Mac great! Linux less so.

Good price, especially to get an old PC/Mac on WiFi.

Effectively doubled the speed of wireless transfers across the home network now that I have 5Ghz Wi-Fi. Sadly the old computer doesn't have usb 3, so device is limited only by the usb 2 port it is connected to.

even though its a new version of TL-WN722N it is not compatible with kali also it doesn't have atheros ar9271 chipset

returning as its not compatible but if you are getting this only for windows and mac , you are good works perfect with windows

Cumple lo prometido, pero si no tienes una nocion basica de ordenadores no vas a averiguar como conectarlo a la red 5G, para todos esos comentarios que dicen que no se conecta a la red 5G os voy a ayudar porque si se conecta: por defecto aunque instaleis drivers, vuestra tarjeta de red del portatil se conectara por defecto antes de la Tp link, lo que teneis que hacer es deshabilitarla, para ello teneis que ir a configuracion/wifi/cambiar opciones del adaptador y aqui teneis que deshabilitar la que no tenga el nombre de tp link para despues conectar la buena, adjunto fotos

Poor Linux support

The description - and TP-Link - state that this is compatible with Linux but this is only partially true. TP-Link Linux drivers are archaic and do not work with any modern kernel version, and the only workaround is to manually configure chipset drivers. To be fair this still works fine in Windows and Linux but chipset drivers are broken with every kernel upgrade, so you have to reinstall them once again. Which is quite annoying when the computer in question is wireless and you use this device to SSH in. This may not be such a big issue for other users but it isn't suitable for my needs

Bonjour,
Rencontrant des problèmes de coupures de la liaison wifi entre mon ordinateur portable et la box, j'ai pu à force d'effectuer des tests me rendre compte que le problème de wifi ne venait pas de la box sfr, mais de mon pc portable, la carte intégrée wifi commençant à rendre l'âme.
J'ai acheté sans être convaincu cette clé. Bien m'en a pris car miracle de la technologie la clé wifi me permet enfin de générer une liaison puissante entre mon ordinateur et ma box, en en triplant la puissance d'émission/réception. j'ai maintenant une liaison claire et nette même à plus de 10 mètres à travers les murs, alors que jusqu'à hier je perdais le wifi à moins de 2 m de la box. Donc ravi de cet achat que je recommande à celle et ceux qui comme moi ont un pc à la liaison wifi difficile. Attention toutefois, un lecteur de cdrom est nécessaire pour installer les drivers.

Bonsoir à tous,

Je ne recommande pas du tout ce produit qui ne fonctionne tout simplement pas correctement sous Windows 10 Famille édition 64 bits avec un réseau WiFi 5 GHz, un comble quand on lit le descriptif du produit.

J'ai eu beau essayer tous les firmwares disponibles sur le site de TP link ainsi que le dernier firmware beta qui était censé corriger les problèmes de réseau 5 GHz en France mais rien n'y a fait, je n'ai cessé d'avoir des coupures intempestives tout au long de mes 5 journées de tests

Je vous recommande de vous orienter vers un autre produit si votre attente est la même que la mienne !
