1. Please plug the power cord into the amp THEN the wall, plug the audio cables into amp THEN switch on.

Some customers may see some slight sparks flying when they plug the power supply into the amplifier, because they use it in wrong way, you need to connect the amp to the power supply first, then plug the power supply into the 110v AC outlet, don't worry about the sparks, because this is class d amplifier, the capacitors need to charge when the power in, it's normal and safe.

2. The amp will off when you switch off, but it's normal that the power LED light stay on even switch off, the power LED light on means the power supply in.

3. What will cause noise?

Poor quality audio cables, Sound source, Speakers, Other interfering signals;Incompletely connections.

4. How to judge whether the noise from the amplifier?

Unplug the RCA cable, connect this amp to speakers, and then plug into the power supply, power on and volume on, hear whether noise exists on speakers, if noise existed, the noise may from speakers or amp, so you need to change speakers for further confirmation. If no noise the noise may from the audio source.

Good chip-amp in a nice box.

This amp uses the TDA7498E IC from ST Micro, which is a widely used and well regarded amp on a chip. This is a pretty minimal implementation, but I like that. Fit and finish is good, and it doesn't run excessively hot.

The power supply you get is rated 108W/24V. With normal 8-ohm speakers you're looking at 2x35W rms. For 'normal listening' this is plenty, but you won't get anywhere near 2x160W.

There's no hum, background hiss or thumps switching on and off. I find bass transients a little light, but not problematically so. Otherwise, it sounds really good. Edit: I added a large capacitor (22000uF/35V) to the power input, which I've convinced myself tightened up the bass. YMMV.

I found the volume knob (since others have commented on it) slightly uneven and slightly scratchy on adjustment, so I just maxed it and left it alone. I don't think it's a big deal.

All that said, in my opinion it's totally worth the money - I liked it enough to buy another.

This type of Class D amplifier is springing up all over in recent months. I am sure that some audio purists will find fault with the sound quality but I have to say that I am delighted with the overall sound quality and both the extent and flatness of the frequency response.

I use it as a monitor amplifier in a home studio set-up. I play keyboard, the bass power and richness is highly impressive. The upper frequencies can sound a little glassy at times but can easily be tweaked. I use a pair of 100W studio monitors and boy can this tiddly tiny little amplifier give them some welly and a run for their money.

The Volume Control is not 100% even. The Right channel comes in sooner than the Left it then balances out a bit better - I guess the quality of the volume pot is not tops. I was somewhat worried about the quality of the connectors both the speakers and the power input connectors - they being quite small but no problems so far. The power input socket still has me thinking how can such a tiny connector handle up to 150 Watts - I guess though that if that kind of wattage was sustained for any length of time - no doubt it would burn out - but the average power put-through would only be a fraction.

Price wise it only cost about 33% of the price of my previous monitor amp. Very similar types of this amp are becoming available from China at about half the money. That said - this one comes with a guarantee - and the power supply looks to be of fairly high quality. I am happy I took a chance with this amp - so far it is doing the job I need maybe it is even a little better than my previous monitor amp that cost 3 times the price of the Fosi TDA7498E.

works well , tiny with excellent power , good back up from the manufacture for silly questions . I have an old JVC cd player that I'm attached to , that got dragged out during lockdown and put into service in the gym , only issue , it has lousy little speakers so I got a pair of Wharfdale bookcase speaker - which the JVC was not powerful enough to drive ( my fault for not looking into it ) this unit connected via the JVC outputs delivers more sound output than you would ever need , excellent bass , sound quality is good but I cannot comment too much as I'm running from a geriatric cd player but sounds good to me . the unit is small ( fits on my window sill ) neat and has no bad habits that I have found so far . The manufacture help me fault find ( again totally my fault ) I ended up with a single strand of speaker cable that I hadn't noticed bridged the terminals giving intermittent sound .

Wow what a little belter. I purchased another product which has been fine but the speakers I have Audio Monitor Radius 45 were just asking for more power especially as they were rated at 50W RMS and I have to say this amp has done an amazing job, it bumps out the power! its only day one but to say I'm impressed is an understatement. Well worth the money and I totally recommend them. I saw one review that said they didn't produce much base! sorry but they produce as much as they are every going too without a subwoofer to back it up!

Ero da tempo alla ricerca di un piccolo ed economico amplificatore in classe D.
La voglia di provare questi piccoli aggeggi era davvero tanta, vi spiego sono già felice possessore del più famoso "SonicImpact" in classe T questo, solo per farvi capire il mio interesse verso questi "piccoli" amplificatori.
Ebbene dopo varie ricerche, la mia scelta è caduta su questo prodotto della Fosi, una non notissima azienda cinese nata del 2017. Si sono per l'appunto specializzati nella ricerca e sviluppo di innumerevoli amplificatori audio, dalle discrete qualità, che dopo vedremo, a prezzi davvero concorrenziali.
Ma passiamo adesso al nostro TDA7498E
****Caratteristiche****
* Adotta appunto il chip TDA7498E di Texas Instruments per ottenere un suono audio chiaro, nessun rumore udibile, quando non viene riprodotto nulla verso i diffusori.
* 160 W X 2 (4 ohm, 20 Hz - 20 kHz, 0,04% THD

****Cosa mi è piaciuto****
* Dimensioni ridotte
* Case in alluminio di buona qualità
* Presenza dell'alimentatore (buon valore aggiunto anche se qualitativamente non è il massimo)
* Tasto di accensione e spegnimento davvero carino.

****Cosa invece non mi è piaciuto****
* Potenziometro del volume di qualità scadente, che produce rumori in fase di aumento del volume, non recuperabile, almeno nel mio esemplare neanche con lo spray antiossidante.
* Morsetti per i cavi di potenza davvero troppo piccoli ho fatto fatica con filo spellato anche da 1,5mm.

****Come suona****
La prima cosa da dire, è che la potenza nominale è fuorviante. Si suppone che gli standard di classificazione della potenza normale siano dati come RMS, non picco, ma chiaramente la Fosi lo identifica come picco. In questo caso l'alimentazione è di 24 V a 4,5 amp, il che significa che con un'efficienza del 100% (il che è impossibile) l'amplificatore è in grado di produrre 108 watt totali (semplici volt x amp per watt). (Un amplificatore non può inviare più potenza agli altoparlanti rispetto ai suoi alimentatori.) Con un'efficienza tipica dell'80% di una Classe D, è più simile a 86 watt, e ovviamente è a 2 canali, quindi significa e realisticamente circa 43 watt per canale .
Ma comunque vi garantisco, che al di là dei tecnicismi può suonare davvero forte.
Ebbene ho provato a collegarlo ad uno dei mie DAC, un topping D50s e riprodurre un po di musica varia tramite un mini-pc con Daphile e devo dire che sono rimasto davvero colpito da questo "giocattolino", cavi di potenza e cavi di segnale standard nulla di audiophile naturalmente e diffusori elac debut 2.0 b6.2 e JBL Studio 230.
Qualità sonora più che valida, alti cristallini, medi presenti e bassi profondi ma ben controllati.
Timbricamente, si presenta essenzialmente caldo e morbido l'equilibrio timbrico, dicevo, è comunque tendente al caldo, ma l'estensione verso le alte frequenze e la raffinatezza riescono a rivelare ancora tutti i particolari di un'incisione utilizzata, per certi versi è stupefacente rispetto a quanto pagato. Mi dilungherei ancora tanto nella descrizione, ma avrò già annoiato la maggior parte di voi.

****Lo consiglierei****
Beh si, certo nulla di paragonabile alla raffinatezza del piccolo T-amp di sonicimpact ma quanta potenza ragazzi, una scatolina che puoi portare ovunque, capace di far suonare ottimi diffusori anche a basse impedenze ovvio senza esagerare.
