5.0 out of 5 stars Awesome story, loved the characters' connection 15 June 2017

Format: Kindle Edition Verified Purchase
I absolutely loved this story! Wesley and Connor are amazing characters and the connection between them is just beautiful. The premise of two Doms falling for each other was what drew me to this book and the story was not at all disappointing! The attraction between Wes and Connor was so intense, yet character development went well beyond the purely romantic plot. I loved the backstories of these characters, how they handled the definitely challenging situation they found themselves in, and felt like all other characters mentioned in this relatively short read where there for a good reason. It's so refreshing to read a BDSM story where you can be immersed into the world and find the characters relatable. Highly recommended!

4.0 out of 5 stars Enjoyable 26 June 2017
By JTorleif - Published on
Format: Kindle Edition
Wesley was a very interesting character, to me. He was dominant in every aspect of his life until he was suddenly, and unexpectedly introduced to Connor. Even before he really met the man, something about Connor threw Wesley out of his comfort zone. Perhaps because his job is to push limits and boundaries, Wesley doesn't avoid Connor, but rather, tries to focus on what it is about the man that makes him uncomfortable.

Connor was interesting in that he is a Dom who was in an abusive relationship where his sub was the toxic partner. It isn't often mentioned that such things can happen, and I found it refreshing (in a very sad way) to see it here.

I loved that Connor respected Wesley's crisis as he tried to work through his desire to submit while being a dom in all other relationships in his life. I believed that Connor cared deeply for and about Wesley.

I voluntarily reviewed an ARC of this book.

4.0 out of 5 stars Two Doms? Who tops and who bottoms? 3 July 2017
By Laura A. - Published on
Format: Kindle Edition
This was the first book by Aimee Brissay that I've read. The title and description of the book definitely piqued my interest enough to want to read this book as I am totally drawn in by the BDSM world and lifestyle. So the concept of the book about two doms working in the same dungeon falling for each other definitely intrigued me. How can you go wrong with two hot Alpha males that make a living by fulfilling the fantasies of all the willing submissives that are members of the dungeon?

All in all, the story was good and kept my attention for the most part. I could have used a little more background on the characters instead of just being thrown into it and it wouldn't have hurt for someone to give it a re-read as an editor / proofreader to catch some errors that threw off my ability to enjoy the story.

All in all, a good read. Would definitely consider reading a sequel to this story, but let's hope next time a little extra effort is put into it by whoever is editing and / or proofreading it.

I received an ARC and in return and offering my honest review.

4.0 out of 5 stars Interesting twist 26 June 2017
By Suzy V - Published on
Format: Kindle Edition
A good BDSM book with an interesting twist. Wesley is a dominant who works at a club as a professional. When he meets Connor, a slighter, younger man who is also going to be working at the club, he doubts that Connor is a true dominant. Wesley begins to doubt himself, his life, and his choice of a career when he is intensely attracted to Connor and craves Connor's dominance. If Wesley can be submissive to Connor, then is he a true dominant? The story is an exploration of what is d/s and can a dominant be submissive to another. A bit too much soul searching on the part of Wesley in this one, but the book is very hot and the scenes between Wesley and Connor are sizzling.

4.0 out of 5 stars Nicely written. 3 July 2017

Well written, great characters well developed with a connection you can feel. As I have no clue personally what a bdsm relationship is supposed to look like it makes me ask due to every relationship being different, if one person makes you feel like submitting and another makes you feel like dominating them how do you truly know if you are submissive or dominant? Who knows maybe that was a stupid question of me to ask, but with Wesley only questioning his dominance when he finds himself wanting to submit to Conner kinda got me thinking. Great book I received an ARC and voluntarily left a review.
