I was definitely one of those 'flat-lining' swimmers before discovering this book, and only went in search of it because I was becoming increasingly bored of doing length after length with little further progress. Now not only are my swims more interesting but they are more challenging, and I come out the pool feeling like I've had a proper workout.
My only slight criticism is that most of the workouts are designed with a 25m pool in mind. I understand that this is the most common configuration but a 50m friendly section would be helpful. That said, this book is encouraging me to go to the pool more during the 25m sessions rather than waiting for the 50s so that has to be a good thing!
