Dewberry delightReviewed in the United States on 6 November 2020
Another terrific Dewberry Farm mystery from Karen MacInerney. This edition brings Lucy to the historical museum in Buttercup where her friend, Serafine, is teaching classes on herbal remedies. The museum director and Serafine both are dealing with an overbearing board member, who just so happens to be the person who donated the property, buildings, and several artifacts to the museum, and thinks that, in return, she should be able to call the shots on what is included at the museum. She's none too keen on showing the truth about what life was like in early Buttercup for those who lived in slavery. To say the least, her bossy ways aren't appreciated. She isn't all that well liked by her own family members for many reasons either. Before you know it, murder is afoot, and it's up to Lucy yet again to figure out who the killer really is before another person she cares for is charged with the crime. The story is strong, the characters are likable, and the recipes included sound delectable! Stop by Dewberry Farm for a relaxing visit, a glimpse into the past, a taste of honey, and an intriguing whodunit!

Great story and a fun read!Reviewed in the United States on 1 November 2020
I had seen Karen on Facebook with her live broadcast and was determined to read one of her books. I received her latest yesterday and finished it last night her inclusion of her late dog in the dialogue brought a tear to my eyes. I have ordered the first 4 in the series😻

love this seriesReviewed in the United States on 4 November 2020
I always pre order this series and also read another series from the author. They are well written with good characters and once start I can't finish because I want to know the guilty party. It is always a surprise which makes for a great read. My only negative with this book was there were typos, misplaced wording or in one case 'a red Mercedes' became a few pages later a 'a red BMW'. Don't think I have ever seen this type of mistakes in any of the books before. So not sure who the proofreader or editor is but they missed a few mistakes. However, I still recommend this series-it has never disappointed me the story.

Fun to ReadReviewed in the United States on 10 November 2020
Fun Little Mystery. But author needs a new editor. Too many mistakes. She saw Damian" s red Mercedes parked in front of the restaurant, but he drove away in a red BMW. I"'ve noticed minor errors like this throughout all of her books.

Another great bookReviewed in the United States on 1 November 2020
This is a wonderful series, and I always enjoy reading about Lucy and the dewberry Farm. This particular book had several errors that should have been caught in editing, but they didn't distract from the well-thought out story.
