Product Description

From the USA TODAY Bestselling Sweet Home Series, comes Sweet Hope.

My name is Ally Prince and I've always been unlucky in love. I don’t know why, I just always… have.

When all of my best friends were falling for their soul mates in College, I was left behind. I was Ally, the pretty cousin of superstar quarterback, Romeo Prince. I was Ally, the best friend to the most amazing group of girls I've ever known—a title I loved, but one I became tired of 'just' being. And I was Ally, the one on which they could all rely.

But to me, I was Ally, the girl with the heart no one had claimed... And I was, Ally, the girl, who underneath it all, was heart-breakingly lonely.

I LOVE love; the thought of it, the nervous excitement of falling for Mr. Right, the desire of someone becoming my entire world... of me becoming theirs. I’ve always wanted passion, heart-stopping, epic, life-changing romance... I’ve always wanted the fairytale… I’ve always wanted it all.

It just never seemed like I would get it.

For the past few years I've thrown myself into my career as a museum curator. I’m the best of the best, the person every museum wants to hire, so when an opportunity came up to move to Seattle, I jumped at the chance. My cousin and my best friend lived in Seattle and I needed a change. I needed a new beginning.

I wasn't expecting to meet anyone in the Emerald City. I wasn't expecting to work closely with the reclusive new sculptor my all-important gallery design was centered around. And I certainly wasn't expecting to fall for him... heart-stopping, epic, life-changing love...

My real life fairytale come true.

But, like in every fairytale, there’s a villain, a dark and tortured soul... I just didn't know that the villain and the hero in my story would end up being one and the same.

New Adult/Contemporary Romance Novel—contains adult content, sexual situations and mature topics. Suited for ages 18 and up.

Please note that this novel CANNOT be read as a standalone novel. SWEET FALL must be read first.

Simply freaking beautiful.
A worthy story of redemption, grief, and the true value of family. Ally and Elpi are both such different and yet beautiful characters. They have their own voices but find something in one another that is truly beautiful.
This story has all the fells. It made me happy, i had dread, i cried and i smiled. It pulls at everything within and with it written so well it truly is a great journey.
Ally and Elpi meet never knowing how attached their worlds already are. They have to face their pasts, struggles and their uncertain futures all just to be able to stand side by side.
Its a great conclusion to the Sweet Home series and if possible Elpi may just have pushed Austin from being my number one man.

This is a crushing read. The first pages of the prologue kindled strong emotions; however, I was given a little breathing space when Ally is introduced in the first chapter with all her enthusiastic traits. Despite this distraction being more than welcome, throughout the read, I always felt that something ominous was lurking just around the corner and would come back to bite me with a vengeance. And I can honestly assure you that I wasn’t in the slightest bit ready for the fallout. Oh, my god! What a storyteller Ms Cole is! She managed to provoke such dismay, so many conflicting feeling in me, that I was either sobbing my heart out, shouting out loud at the protagonists, or cleaning my steamed up reading glasses! There is no doubt in my mind that Sweet Hope is the perfect title for a novel that does instil ‘hope’. You have to have it because otherwise you’ll be a blubbering mess.

I can't possibly reveal who quoted this as it took me quite a while to put two and two together but it's extremely relevant to the story. Quote: "Protect them... always protect them... please... please..."

Aliyana Lucia is a breath of fresh air. Generous of heart and soul, modest, loyal to her friends and an expert museum curator, has the opportunity of a lifetime; organise the first exhibition of a sculptor who has never wanted to publicly display his works of art for reasons to be revealed in the story. Not only can she believe she’ll be responsible for the design of the gallery of the best sculptures in her dreams, but also be staying with her beloved cousin, Rome and his wife, Molly— her best friend, in their home in Seattle. I. Fell. In. Love. With. Ally! What a woman.

Quote: Ally ~ "His work, it's... it's...it's my soul. That's the only way I can explain it.

“Sono felice insieme a te… Sempre.”
("I am happy with you... Always.")

Absolutely heartbreaking and gut wrenching, SWEET HOPE is the redemption story of Axel Carillo and his journey from ex gang member and recently released prisoner to the famed yet mysterious artist Elpidio. Readers will remember Axel from the previous Sweet Home books - I have to be honest, I wasn't sure that Tillie Cole could turn my disgust for Axel into love but she did, a thousand times over. What made this story UNFORGETTABLE and AMAZING for me was the road to redemption endured by Axel and it wasn't an easy one. With his past still having a hold of him, to the pure animosity emanating from his younger brother Levi, this tortured man had many hurdles ahead of him.

I thought that Ally Prince was the perfect heroine for Axel. She was a strong minded heroine that despite finding out about who he really was, looked beyond his past sins and saw the man underneath. My heart broke with the flashbacks to Mama Carrillo. Those touching, poignant scenes had me reaching for my box of tissues. And the brotherhood between the Carillo boys were heartfelt and beautiful. This book made me realise just how much Axel had sacrificed for his family. His membership in the gang wasn't by choice yet in his eyes was the only way he could care for his family. Everything he did was selfless and for his family. And OMGGG, the sculptures that he created which showcased his life and family brought me to tears.

Ms. Cole is a master of writing stories to pull at your heart strings! This book hooked me from the very first page right till the end and the epilogue was PERFECT!! She writes the best epilogues in her books and this one was no exception. Five HOPEFUL stars!!

Without spoiling the reveals, I wondered how Tillie would work out the details related to the challenges of Ally and Elpi's love, but she did, oh so beautifully.

I think it's amazing that each of the books in the series are very different under the umbrella of HEA/romantic fiction. She hasn't gone for the generic, 101 method and churned out the same story under a different title. This one is more of a deeply emotional and personal journey for both of the main characters (and how others are effected by one of the characters.) Loyalty was a strong thread woven throughout. It was also more sensual, lustful and hot & heavy than the others. Further, it was a touching story of how two people just click and form an unbreakable connection; the only similarity to the previous books.

The only chink, for me, was it became a little sentimental in the final section of the book, but this wasn't detrimental to the overall story. The beginning, main body and epilogue were outstanding.

An interesting point for discussion is - is it ok to get off your head on alcohol, but not ok to do drugs? It's also amusing to note that 'beauty is in the eyes of the beholder' - Elpi basically thinks that Lexi is just a skinny chick and he doesn't 'get' why Aust is so captivated by her .

Now..onto Sweet Soul to finish the series.
