Product Description

From the USA Today Best Selling Sweet Home Series, comes Sweet Fall; a tale of heartache, beating the odds and finding strength in the most unlikeliest of places.

We all have secrets.

Secrets well buried.

Until we find the one soul who makes the burden of such secrets just that little bit easier to bear.

Lexington "Lexi" Hart is a senior at the University of Alabama. Surrounded by her best friends, her loving family and having fulfilled her life-long dream of making the Crimson Tide cheer squad, everything is going exactly as she always dreamed it would. But beneath her happy exterior, demons lurk, threatening to jeopardize everything Lexi has worked to achieve.

When events in her life become too much to cope with, Lexi finds herself spiraling down into the realm of her biggest fear. Lexi falls hard, victim once again to the only thing that can destroy her and, on the way, finds herself falling straight into the dangerous tattooed arms of a guy from the wrong side of the tracks.

Austin Carillo, starting Wide Receiver for the Alabama Crimson Tide, must get picked in this year's NFL draft. He needs it. His brothers need it. Most importantly, his mother desperately needs it. Brought up in a world where the poor are forgotten, the sick are left to fend for themselves and no hero miraculously appears to pull you out of hell, Austin had no other choice but to make a living on the wrong side of the law—until football offered Austin the break to get his life back on track.

But when a family tragedy drags him back into the clutches of the gang he believed he had left far behind, Austin finds himself falling. Falling back into criminal ways and falling deep into a suffocating darkness. Until a troubled yet kindred spirit stumbles across his path, where Austin quickly finds he is falling for a young woman—a young woman who might just have the power to save him from his worst enemy: himself.

Can two troubled souls find a lasting peace together? Or will they finally succumb to the demons threatening to destroy them?

New Adult/Contemporary Romance novel—contains adult content, sexual situations and mature topics. Suited for ages 17 and up.

Initially, I wasn't that interested in reading book 3, as I wanted to get onto the story about Ally. 'Who's Lexie, anyway?' I thought. She was only referenced here and there in the series. Because book 3 was a lead-in to Ally's book, I downloaded it, thinking, 'I'll just rush though it.' Then I read the preamble fromTillie and realised the book was going to be addressing a serious health issue. I wasn't sure I was up to it, but I pressed on.

Thank you, Tillie for providing authentic insight into this terrible scourge, anorexia. You wove this theme seemlessly into the narrative. I have known a couple of girls who suffered from this illness. I sympathised, but never really understood their thinking. Now, I feel I can better empathise.

It's amazing that a off-the-cuff comment or a cruely aimed insult can alter a person's life forever. The inner voice can take over and dominate or steer a person's life from then on. It's possible to beat it down, but impossible to stop it from rearing it's ugly head from time to time, especially when your personal trigger is set off. Equally, a positive comment can be a powerful, pivotal moment for others.

Tillie, your writing was fantastic and character development, excellent. Austin and Lexie were each other's strengths and I'm really glad I went on their journey. I thought I wouldn't be able to relate to the small, goth girl, but I found I could relate to her in many ways.

I think Tillie Cole is an excellent writer. I usually do not enjoy YA romances but this was on my kindle, I liked the sample so I bought the book. I am glad I did.

Cole writes emotionally touching/ tortured souls so well. This is the second book of hers that I have read and I was not disappointed.

I love well written messed up souls and this one had it all going on. The fact that it was something the author had experienced personally was obvious in the quality of the storytelling.

Absolutely worth reading. 4.5 stars

I cried! I cried! And I cried!!! This book was a roller coaster of emotions - highly addictive and heart breaking! Austin is painfully flawed and Lexi is fighting her own internal battles. When these two characters come together, their struggles fall away, and their love for each other shines through. Highly recommended!! Bring tissues!!

Austin may just be my favourite man yet. He is flawed, but he has hopes and dreams yet he is still willing to sacrifice them. He is strong willed yet sweet. He looks rough but can be just as broken, he really is pretty perfect. Lexi has faults too and i think they played out really well. Even though the nature of them is quite serious her thoughts and actions are completely believable. I love that two lost souls come together no matter how they may look to other people.
Sweet Fall is a little darker than the other two books, maybe a little more intense but it is still written with amazing talent. I would recommend it. It is a stand alone but characters from the previous books do appear.

This book was so very different to what I first imagined it would be. I absolutely loved it.
Lexie's & Austin's lives are heart-breaking. The story line was so well written you felt their pain as their lives unfolded in very different ways.
This book draws you in, and towards the end of the book the letter Lexie wrote was so powerful. My lip trembled, my hand started to shake and when I finished the letter I had to take a moment to compose myself. Life is not always fair, but sometimes you find your soul mate along the way to give you the strength to be the person you should be.
If ever there was a book that is "must read" it is without a doubt this book.

I can't even begin to tell you how AMAZING this book was!
This was one of the deepest yet sweetest books I have read!!!
It was my first book by Tillie Cole and I CANNOT WAIT to get my hands on another one of her books!!!

I think what really made this book FANTASTIC was how well it was written - the authors' foreword was very touching!
Lexie's story is heart-breaking - she is broken and tries so hard to shield herself from the world. Her "demons" are very powerful and is an issue that can relate to a lot of women. Austin is just as broken with a very different story to Lexie's, but together they make one beautiful story!
I can guarantee you won't be disappointed that you read this book, but ensure you have the time up your sleeve when you do as it is not one that can be easily put down!
Oh, and make sure you have PLENTY of tissues!
