STONEFIRE DRAGONS BOOK 7
Nikki Gray has reason to hate the dragon hunters—they brutally murdered one of her friends a year ago. Not only that, they have caused havoc on several of the British dragon clans, injuring countless individuals. Determined to defeat the hunters by kidnaping their leader, Simon Bourne, she teams up with a human male in the British special forces. After six months of work, they’re finally ready to carry out their mission and capture Bourne. However, one kiss derails their plans and changes their lives forever.

At the request of his sister, Rafe Hartley agrees to work with the dragon-shifters. After all, the dragon hunters are a pain in his arse and the fewer of them, the better. The woman assigned as his Stonefire liaison, however, is the same one he hurt four years ago in Afghanistan. Pushing aside their past, they learn to work together. Yet with each passing encounter, he is drawn to the lively, stubborn woman. He finally gives in to his attraction and kisses the dragonwoman. What follows turns his life upside down.

Rafe and Nikki must now decide what to do with their futures. Can they still work together and find a way to capture Simon Bourne? Or, will their fated kiss result in a divide that can’t be healed?

Full-length book with happy ending / 75,000 words / 18+, for explicit language and sexual situations / Dragon shifter romance

In her determination to defeat the dragon hunters, Nikki Gray teams up with a human male to kidnap the leader of the hunters but one kiss derails their plans and changes their lives forever in this outstanding paranormal romance.

At his sister’s request, Rafe Hartley agrees to work with the dragon-shifters, but the woman he is assigned to work with is the one he hurt years ago and the readers are pulled into this story as Rafe gives in his to attraction to Nikki and the kiss turns his life upside down. The passion and chemistry scorch readers from just about every page of this story, but that isn’t too surprising since we are talking about Rafe and Nikki, I mean their push and shove relationship has added quite a bit of snark and spice to the series since Rafe first began working with the dragons so that one kiss leading them on a relationship that is full of flying sparks, humor, passion and abundance of emotional turmoil is quite fitting as well as entertaining. These strong characters are quite charismatic and demand that the readers pay attention to their story while the fast paced and smooth flowing plot thrills readers with suspense, excitement and romance.

Okay, the relationship of course is the main source of excitement in this story that much is obvious but there is lots more going on which keeps readers on the edge of their seat with lots of expectation and thrills. The hunters are plotting to attack, the humans still have to make their choice on who to put in office over dragon affairs and one of them could be a really bad decision for everyone and the missions keep getting sidetracked by various events.

Another words folks, this story is non-stop action, suspense, and romance with some humor thrown in and there was no way that I could put the story down once I started reading it. Nikki and Rafe make such an outstanding couple that I completely blown away and they would be my favorite, if it wasn’t for the fact that I love them all!

It seems like such a long time since I've read one of Jessie's books, I've been waiting for this but whatever this woman touches it is just gold, this is why I call her my golden lady.
Ms. Jessie makes my reading electrifying, nothing will make you quit till you are at the end. Yes I would recommend this book/series in a New York second. The bickering between
them is comical in fact you just want to keep reading to see what they were saying next. The suspence is another reason I keep reading
this whole book.
Nikola Helen Gray aka Nicki is a DragonShifter whose Dragon is getting out of hand, she knew she was in trouble. But just one kiss, why not, I just want one kiss, can’t I have just one? And so the pain begins.
Rafe Daniel Hartley aka Mr. Happy is a human, and an ex- Special Ops many years before he
worked with Nicki but it ended with him hurting her. Yep his reputation to this date was to love them and leave them. But he will never forget Nicki, she was everywhere he looked, every dream he had. He loved the bickering back and forth with her. Now this big mission is coming up and Nicki was part of it... OMG perpetual hard on! I was gifted this ARC for an honest and truthful review.

This is the story of Nikola (Nikki) Gray and Rafe Hartley. For reason we find out later in the book, these two get off to a very rocky start. But with just one kiss Nikki finds out that Rafe is her true mate, whether she like it or not. Now she has to decide to either go through months of pain or let Rafe impregnate her. But Nikki won’t go down without a fight and refuses to give up her life as a protector of the clan. On top of all that, even if she wanted to keep Rafe, it’s illegal for a Dragonwoman to take a human male as a mate. Lot of action and adventure happens in this well written and very entertaining story.
