5.0 out of 5 stars **Excellent Conclusion** 3 February 2017

The prolific author, Tonya Royston penned a perfect ending to the Sunset Trilogy. I had added Surrender at Sunrise on the TBR list, and I was eager to find out what happened to Laken, Xander, Noah, and Dakota. And once I began reading, I couldn't put it down. This third installment was filled with deathly close calls, suspense, and heated romance. What I truly liked was that Surrender at Sunrise had episodes of sizzling passion, yet remained a clean read. There was a moment towards the end where the reader is given a twist which I definitely didn't expect and it upped the intrigue.
I recommend this excellent series to readers, young and old.
5.0 out of 5 stars Surrender Until The End 28 July 2016

From the first page of the first chapter, you want to JKR - just keep reading! To see how this story unfolds and sadly ends an exquisitely very well written trilogy. As you read this compelling story (and get deeply immersed), you will find it truthful and very much believable. It's a mystery, it's a romance, it's fantasy. The twists and turns to this story are an up and down ride (hold on to the edge of your seat readers and fans!). As you get toward the end, not only will your #TEAM (name) change, you will be completely satisfied as the trilogy comes to a close. Tonya has written it very well to to wrap it up. You definitely will not feel she wrote in a hurry or wrote anything to end the story of Laken and her friends and her world. I will miss my "friends" (as the characters have felt to me); Laken, Xander, Noah and most of all Dakota. I dare any reader (young or old; these stories are for all ages to to be enjoyed and savored like a fine wine) to pick up book one (Shadows at Sunset) and STOP! Do carry on to book two ( Silence at Midnight) and then Surrender at Sunset.

All three of theses books are great to read. Talking to wild animals has always been my dream and this series takes that dream to reality. Fun to read.

Awesome! The final book in the trilogy sprung some unexpected surprises on me. Good ones. So intriguing it kept me riveted. Since I am usually so busy, I read this book during my lunch breaks at work and found it really hard to stop reading when break was over. Thank you, Ms. Royston for such a wonderful storyline that kept me wanting more. Your love of animals clearly shows through. I am so looking forward to your other series.
5.0 out of 5 stars An honest-to-goodness story teller with a whopper of a tale ... 7 August 2016

An honest-to-goodness story teller with a whopper of a tale to tell, that's what Tonya Royston achieves with her Sunset Trillogy. Her skill in leading the reader through plot twists and character developement keeps the excitement high. And the pace is rapid in the final book, Surrender at Sunrise. Don't start Book One until you have all three handy, because you won't want to stop reading once you start. What a romp!
