I have to say this book disappointed me. Sabrina writes great ice hockey romances and I was sure this would be terrific. It wasn’t. I found it shallow and more about the perils of fame than a couple on opposite sides of the country with very different careers and fame levels trying to reach a happy ever after. I found the conflict at times not believable and forced. However sometimes authors just miss the mark. On this occasion Sabrina did indeed score a C -.

I love love love the Brooklyn Bruisers series, and I was absolutely thrilled to get this on my kindle
If you have read the previous books in this series, you will remember Silas and how all the other Bruisers guys tease our goalie mercilessly about being Delilah Spark's superfan
But boy was there more to that story than we knew - I was delightfully surprised as to how their story began.
Silas and Delilah's story is at times fun and flirty, and at times sad and a little heartbreaking. Both have moved onwards and upwards in their careers, however neither have been really fulfilled emotionally.
I loved getting more of those Brooklyn guys and their gals, and I love how they have become more of a family than blood.
I laughed out loud at times, particularly with the Bruisers family - oh how I love them all.
There were characters that I was unsure of for a while, who I was not sure if I should trust or not. Oh, and there were also some that I didn't just hate - I loved hating them, and they deserved every sh!t thing that was tossed their way haha
The things that I like about series about hockey players - there are always trades, there are always retirements, there are always changes in the team. And that means that Ms Bowen has to keep writing these books to infinity and beyond for me - yay!!!
I can't wait to see where we are taken next.

I honestly don't know if Sarina Bowen is a genius who has all these amazing book plots all planned out a million books in advance or if she just has the most incredible talent that just makes everything work to perfection. But either way Silas and Delilah were magic.
Silas has been one of my favourites forever and his love of Delilah Spark music was so endearing. But I never even imagined their was such a sweet history between them.
And the flash backs were written so perfectly that I was right there with them both. Not to mention having this told in both points of view made me fall for them both immediately. I honestly felt like I went on a holiday to the ocean and sat at the bar watching Delilah and Silas fall in love.
Of course the new secondary characters were great but catching up with the team was even better. I love seeing them moving forward in the background of a new story. The only small thing I want changed is for Mr Muscles to stay in the story. I would love a bit more of him.
This whole book has made me feel all warm and swoony and I really wish I had a whole heap more of them to read. I am such a massive fan of Sarina Bowen, she just never disappoints.

Silas Kelly (Brooklyn Bruisers goalie) is superstar singer/songwriter Delilah Spark’s biggest fan. His obsession with her is well known to all his friends, but what they don’t know is that they once knew each other... Three years ago they were slightly down on their luck, working hard to make it to the big time, and they had a connection. Silas was a bartender and she came to his bar daily for a drink and a chat. Fast forward to today and they’re both super successful, they still have a sizzling connection and things are even more complicated. This is their second chance at love and for Silas absolutely nothing will get in the way. He’s Delilah’s biggest Superfan but he’s also the most perfect book boyfriend ever! He’s sweet, kind, funny, caring and hot. Delilah is just lovely and together these two are just plain delightful!

Squee! All the feels.
Silas is the Brooklyn Bruisers goalkeeper, in the previous books his team mates have mocked him for his devotion to popstar Delilah Spark's music, little do they know that he met Delilah before she was famous and they almost went on a date. When Silas and his friends are watching Dallas play LA the cameras spot Delilah in the crowd and she's wearing the hated Dallas jersey! Silas reaches out on twitter and gets an LA jersey delivered to her, a bet ensues and Silas and Delilah are going on a date.
Delilah has a lot on her plate, a stalker who sends her note written on cocktail napkins, an ex who is also her music producer and won't release her second album until she signs on for two more albums, and a bodyguard that she suspects is spying on her. She doesn't have time for some random hockey player, no matter how hot, but Silas isn't going to give up now he's got a second chance with the love of his life - he's all in.
This is just sumptuous, Silas has had some hard knocks in the past but now he's hit the big time and all he needs now is the girl of his dreams; whatever she needs he's gonna give her, even if it's space.
Trademark Sarina Bowen, swoon-worthy heroes and plucky heroines, great characters and a plot that keeps the reader enthralled to the last word.

Gloriously, doing what he desires, at twenty five Silas Kelly is a professional hockey player with the Brooklyn Bruisers. He is a goalie and has just had his best year ever. But three years previously he was not so fortunate. Down on his luck he worked as a barman in Darlington Beach with the nickname Ralph and met Delilah Spark. She too was down on her luck whilst trying to start her singing career and even then he was smitten by her singing and her personality. But she refused to give him her phone number. Now Delilah has achieved superstar status. She has sold platinum records and had garrisons of fans.
But her slick music manager, who was also her controlling boyfriend (but no longer) is deliberately holding back her second album. The exact same person Ralph had problems with when they were both at the same school.
The hockey season is over but most of the team is watching
"hockey" on the television when Silas spots Delilah in the crowd at the match. He debates that she is wearing the wrong team shirt so gets his assistant to get a delivery of the right shirt. And... he asks her out on a date. Does she accept? Does she know that Silas Kelly is actually Ralph? Please read and find out more...

Superfan is the much anticipated story of Brooklyn Bruiser goalie Silas Kelly, and superstar songstress Delilah Spark. It can be read as a standalone but you’ve read the previous book in the series you’ll recall it was heavily alluded to that Silas’ relationship with Delilah went beyond that of him being a fan of her music.
Discovering their connection and how deep it went was as sweet and exciting as witnessing the two reconnect. There’s an honesty and unassuming nature to their relationship and I adored just how much they wanted to be together, and the qualities they brought out of each other.
Strong, resilient woman always get my vote, and Delilah can be counted among them. She was charming, humble and a lovely character to read. Silas was an unexpected character for me, I’d always thought of him as nice, but I wasn’t prepared for him to outdo his team mates with the swagger and finesse that he did.
This is a series that keeps on giving, and much to my delight Sarina and her Bruisers show no signs of slowing down.

The Brooklyn Bruisers 2nd goalie,Silas has always been known, by his teammates, as a massive Delilah Sparks fan. What they don't know is that these two actually know each other, casually from years ago. So when these two meet again it's obvious that there is a huge spark between them. The only spanner in the works is Delilah's ex boyfriend and manager, who creates havoc for her wherever he goes. It also comes to light that he wreaked Jason's rep in school and that he is now trying to do the same thing to Delilah. The only positive thing is that these two are crazy about each other.
I love how strong these two are and how much fun they have together. I really wanted to punch Delilah's ex as he's so evil. This is why I love Sarina Bowen books as she makes us care so passionately about her characters. The Brooklyn Bruisers is by far one of my favorite series and I can't wait for the next installment of Sarina magic.

Silas really had it bad for Delilah, complete superfan indeed. Loved how this story developed. Delilah really struggled to get her music out there, and the first person to take her seriously, Brett, just happens to be someone who Silas hates!
Silas is totally moved by Dee's music and has complete faith in her so when she does succeed he comes across as obsessed to his friends.
Great characters, lovely story with great back story. Loved it!
