There was no plastic around the casing (which is on all new DVDs and game cases) and there was also dirt in the case (circled in images). Pretty sure one of your workers stole the game inside, as there was dirt in it, which is very disappointing.
I'm very lucky to be getting a replacement, but this shouldn't be happening in the first place. If you want to get this game, go get it from JB-Hi-Fi or EB Games instead to avoid what happened to me!

Unfortunately, Nintendo didn't bother improving the game much. Ultimately this is running on an emulator. The controls are a little clunky, not uncommon for games from this era.
While its not too expensive for 3 games, I personally think its slightly overprice for the amount of effort Nintendo has put in to it. For an anniversary edition, I would have also liked something extra in the box - but sadly it comes with the cartridge and nothing else.
Also the game is not sealed.
Nintendo really lowered the quality for this release not like in super Mario all stars for the SNES where you can actually see the change and the value of that game but keeping the essence of the originals
For this game as is, it shouldn't cost more than 30 AUD, 10 for each game that is included
Super Mario 64
I'd only ever played the "remastered" 64 game on Nintendo DS when it came out as I didn't have the 64 console as a kid. From what I understand this is basically a straight port from the 64 version, which means it hasn't had some of the more annoying parts of the game removed or tidied up. It has some slight visual improvements though. But overall I thoroughly enjoyed replaying this game, so much so that I did the 120 stars (100% completion).
Super Mario Sunshine
I never got to play this iteration of the franchise when it originally came out on the GameCube, but always wanted to due to the neat, tropical aesthetics. I've got to say I was actually quite disappointed when I did get to play this version. The game has been updated to be widescreen which is a plus, and it does still look really nice visually. But the game feels so undercooked when compared to 64 which came before it.
Super Mario Galaxy
I had, and loved, this game when it originally came out on the Wii, and it holds up just as well today. It's such a fun game with beautiful, filled out levels and worlds for you to explore. You use the gyro/point-ability of the joy-con or pro controller in place of the original wii-mote functionality to collect the star bits, etc. in the various levels. It felt a bit clunky at first, but quickly becomes second nature after some playtime.
In summary I'd definitely recommend this to all Super Mario fans - especially as it's a limited run of copies.
So naturally the expectation was set pretty high for this 3 hit titled mario series!
Unfortunately, all three games feel a bit aged.
Why? Simply porting 3d games is enough to make them playable but not enjoyable.
In the 2d world, the pixel art can be charming and the controls are relatively simple. 3d games brings about improvements in the graphics and the controls of a 3d world, which at the time of release were revolutionary but by today's standards, janky and unpolished. Unfortunately and somewhat ironically the very thing that makes it 3d games 3d games are the ones that lets it down the most when it comes to ports.
The best example of this is Mario 64, which is a plain old port of the original game from the Nintendo 64. It plays OK, but there are enough moments where the controls, camera or graphics just takes you out of the game and feels unrefined.
The same can be said for Sunshine and Galaxy (although to their credit, Nintendo has managed to replace the wii-mote controls extremely well in Galaxy). They are merely ports of the old one
What's a shame is that Nintendo has managed to pull off 3d remakes pretty well. Mario 64 DS is a great example, which has brought about some nice gameplay additions, new graphics and better controls. Same goes for Zelda Ocarina of time and Majora's Mask on the 3ds.
I get that they want to keep originals for nostalgia, being the anniversary edition and all but it does feel like a lost opportunity.
Still, they are 3 good games in their own rights.
