Product description

Product Description

He had no business loving me. I had no idea what I was getting into by loving him.

Kirk Johansson rode with the motorcycle club controlling the hellhole I called home. He was dangerous, and I wasn’t looking to become prey.

Logic demanded I kept my distance, and I tried to play things safe.

Until one Sunday morning…

Sunday Morning contains graphic sexual content, violent situations, and harsh language. The book is only appropriate for adult readers age 18+.

5.0 out of 5 stars I loved it! ! 29 January 2017

I love this book. I read it on my KU awhile back but it's on sale for 99cents and I just bought it! First let me start out by letting you all know this book has love behind closes doors until probably the end we get maybe one scene. So my enjoyment of the book was more about the situation and relationship of the couple.

Spoilers beware...thanks
Hero meets heroine after she starts beating up an MC member passed out in her front lawn. She is sick and tired of losers she is forced to live around, worst is the revolving door her alcoholic mother had since she was young. She is very mature for her very young age since she practically had to raise herself. So hero meets her beating a guy from his MC and takes it in stride. They form this connection in which hero makes it clear he is not going to take advantage of her because he is like 42 yrs old and she is super young. But he wants to be there for her and protect her. So he start looking out for her, gives her a safe place to go and keeps her safe. He really is good to her but she keeps pushing for more once she gets a certain age and he feels this intense guilt that ends up him pushing her away the more she pushes (but still has her with him). I love this one scene where he is super alpha and b@d@ass on a guy that tries to come and bring her back to her mother. They guy shows up high and was described as creepy. It was a real good scene.

So the internal conflicts continie. He really wants her with him but has this immense guilt over their age until finally heroine makes another push that gets the ball rolling in the right direction (was not smooth transition but that's what I loved about it).

Things are good between them. I loved the little descriptions of their day to day lives, the internal dialogue, external conflicts and the story line. It gets better once they get together as hero realizes he is no longer satisfied being an enforcer of an MC and wants to offer more for his lady! He finally becomes the leader he was meant to be and like heroine said they were better together than apart.

It is a safe romance. Mild on heat. Loyal hero. No cheating. Hero is heroine's one and only. This story was mainly about the couple so majority scenes was interaction between them and we are told things happen outside their interaction. I really hope author makes more of thes books.

It's official I loved this novel. I have read and loved this author's other novels. It is a great peek into Kirk and Jodi's courtship. I love the way this author reaches out and grabs you with her novels. I loved this novella. My only wish was it was longer but it was awesome. I loved this series and I loved these characters. Once I started reading I could not put this novel down. The dialogue and banter did not disappoint. I would highly recommend this novel and this author's other novels. Soooooo Good!

Love love this story, I was a bit reserved at first with Jodi being 16 knowing how alpha the authors heroes are but Kirk Johansson knocked that right out of the park they were just Jodi awesome. How they would make no sense to society but they making perfect sense with each other, I loved how Jodi was young but so mature and Kirk kept up with her my favorite parts are where she stalked him then in turn he stalked his apartment to see her. Beautifully written another hit by Bijou great read this story is going on my re read list for life.

I enjoyed this book, I just wish Ms Hunter would have published it before Sawyer's book. it was a bittersweet read for me. The Damaged series is my favorite series from Bijou Hunter and seeing how Cooper's parents got together was great.
