Jean Copeland is an author and English/language arts teacher at an alternative high school in Connecticut. For her first novel, The Revelation of Beatrice Darby, she won the Alice B. Readers Lavender Certificate and the 2016 GCLS Goldie Award for debut author, and was a Goldie finalist in the historical fiction category. In addition to her novels, Jean has published numerous works of short fiction and essays online and in print anthologies. When not exploring the world of lesbian fiction, she enjoys watching her students discover their talents in creative writing and poetry, traveling, relaxing by the shore, and good wine and conversation with friends. Organ donation and shelter animal adoption are causes dear to her heart.

To calculate the overall star rating and percentage breakdown by star, we don’t use a simple average. Instead, our system considers things like how recent a review is and if the reviewer bought the item on Amazon. It also analyses reviews to verify trustworthiness.
This is my first book of Jean Copeland and I like it. I gave her 5 stars because the story is very easy to read, the characters are making sense and the plot it has good points. Plus it is a nice book to read during a train commute. The only thing I am not agree is if in real life someone will accept the behaviour of one of the main characters....I am not sure....

Ok I almost stop reading this book. I not a fan of Kats...this back and forward I am to old for you was getting old. I did love Didi and Vic were so funny...I loved their antics. As for Jordan I just wanted to slap Kat for treating her the way she did. But I am glad I stayed with it because it was a beautiful ending. Part of me recommend this book...but part of me doesn't recommend this book.
Well Kate may have uncharacteristically wigged a time or two but I think it just added to the overall appeal of the story. I liked that I laughed out loud so many times.
