I bought this product as I have reached that peri-menopausal stage in life where my skin is starting to shine by mid - morning due to flushing. My skin is not naturally oily, but because of some flushing it has a tendency to look oily / sweaty. My make up then heads south by lunch-time if I wear a regular face cream. Since using this, things have greatly improved and my skin is less prone to looking like an oil slick, and I would say that my foundation/blush stay in place for longer. Great size bottle as well for the price - cheapest I've found anywhere. Slight herbal fragrance, but nothing too off putting, and soon dissipates.

So this moisturiser is actually amazing. I’ve been trying to find one that works well for my skin for years and I’ve finally found it. I have a mixed skin type, very oily over my nose and chin but very dry on my forehead. I couldn’t find anything that worked for both! My face constantly looked shiny over my nose (it got to the point that my makeup wouldn’t last for even 30 minutes before all the shine came through) but then felt so dry and subsequently itchy in other places. I’ve already spent a small fortune on expensive moisturisers so was reluctant to try another but I’m so glad I did. My makeup now lasts for about 6 hours before the shine comes through (a miracle) and even then it’s much less and my forehead no longer feels dry. I’m even having fewer breakouts.

The product itself is nice to apply. Very light and isn’t greasy and is absorbed very quickly. Completely odourless (which I want in a moisturiser) and a little goes a very long way. The bottle lasts for months.

Thoroughly recommend for oily/mixed skin types.

no product should be 'mattifying', I have learned since I bought this. I have normal to oily skin but the normal parts of my skin became dry and irritated, begging for moisture whilst the oily parts of my skin produced even MORE oil that I experienced the worst acne, possibly of my life!

I loved the smell and the texture, and the price is good but as for the effect of the product - definitely NO! Skin needs to have oil, all day everyday, and should only be matte when it's dead.

I have very greasy skin which I am trying to control with other serums and cleansers but I didn’t want it to become dried out in the process. Even oily skin needs some moisturising loving right😍?? This stuff smells nice and has a light consistency but about 15 mins after I put it on my face is SOOOO OILY. Like an oil slick. If I leave it on over night I wake up with this like layer of grease. It’s totally vile.
Nice scent and you only need a little but if you have oily skin I would avoid this like the plague. Does not matte the skin at all.

I have combination skin but I get a very bright glistening oily forehead when it is sunny/humid. This is the first cream that seems to keep it down for the whole day whilst still keeping my skin just moisturised enough. The excess oils being produced in the sunny weather takes care of the rest.
