A collection of stories from the author's life this covers tales from her upbringing in 1970's Glasgow (little money) through learning to drive in California (confusing) to coping with the positively breath-taking determination of Australia's wildlife to inflict anything from severe annoyance and gag reflex, all the way to extreme pain and death (worrying). A mix of very funny stories with sadder ones it is well worth a read.

I admit that it was the title that first intrigued me about this book, but I was very soon drawn into the author's colourful story telling and laughed (and cried a bit) from start to finish. Left me wanting to spend an evening with her, preferably propped up in a Glaswegian bar, whilst she told me more stories!

5.0 out of 5 stars I highly recommend it. 1 January 2016

A very unique view of life from a very unique author! 'Stung on The Nipple Twice' is a tongue-in-cheek look at little events you wouldn't normally think twice about, but which, when seen from Tennent's slightly skewed perspective(!), take on a whole new meaning. A thought-provoking book which doesn't require a huge investment of your time, I highly recommend it.
5.0 out of 5 stars Here's your ice pack. She'll be right. 17 May 2016

This Weegie dragged herself across three continents, laughing like the daft cow that she is, and giving readers the gift of her hilarious experiences. She has more than a gift of gab; she has a bloody golden funnybone and a tongue to match. If you fall off your chair laughing, no worries, mate. Here's your ice pack. She'll be right.
5.0 out of 5 stars Fun and Thoughtful 9 December 2016

Fun stories and insights. I laughed at most of it. The chapter about her mother isn't as brightly funny but is insightful. I'd recommend it,
