A simple story, an easy read but also emotional.
Need to read books 1 & 2 in the series.
You really don't not have read the previous books in the series.
TJ is a keeper, and his transformation from a pitying self-loathing footnote—lamenting a what-could-have-been past—into a swoon-worthy, romantic hero is awesome. I loved this story cover to cover.
When I sat down to read, I thought, it’s Emma, she’s written two sweet and tender books. I’ll read a chapter or two and go to sleep. But a few pages in, *bites lip* mini sob, I was hooked, fighting full blown crying. It’s so good, and well done. Hours later, I was still noisy reading. Her narrative is fantastic and I couldn’t put it down.
The romance! The heat! OMG the way these two are together, it’s such a well-earned slow burn, and Breeze! OMG Breeze, please give us more of her.
A full-bodied cast of side characters rounds out this wonderful sexy story. Struck is a great romance. I have a feeling Emma Louise is just getting started, and I am thrilled to have found this engaging writer.
Struck is the story of TJ, he has been dealt a shit hand in the relationship department and then his life was thrown an unexpected curve ball by finding out he has a son Abel. The self proclaimed ladies man adapts to a brand new life as a single dad, now this element pleased me no end because single dad books are one of my favourite troupes to read so I’m not going to lie I swooned hard for TJ.
Enter Breeze, she’s the new Yoga Instructor hired at the Gym TJ owns with his brother Keir. She’s stands out with her pink hair and her inquisitive mind. She’s beautiful and has a plan for her future one that she doesn’t want to loose sight of. TJ & Breeze have an insane chemistry that is palpable through the pages, they just have to work out if it’s a forever thing or just right now. You will have to read the book to find out.
I thoroughly enjoyed Struck, it is a recommended read for me.
