Product Description

Fast. That’s how I like life, especially my two great joys: bikes and women. I’m committed to exclusively riding one, but not the other.

Until April.

A sexy-arse freelance photographer who’s travelled the world, and doesn’t do long walks on the beach or romantic candlelit dinners. She enjoys running with the bulls and food spicy enough to make your hair fall out. If that weren’t enough to get me hard, she rides a mean mother of a motorcycle.

I’ve gotta have a taste of this wildcat.

~Spencer (Jones)

I don’t do fast. Not anymore. I’ve got my career, my independence, and since I fled Spain to come back home I promised myself that I wouldn’t be put second—or third, for that matter—again.

Then I meet pretty boy Spencer.

He’s smooth, oozing the most potent pheromones probably known to modern science, and he’s making a move on me. One kiss was almost enough for my promise to dissolve.

My head says no—my treacherous body screams yes. I’m gonna make Spencer work for it. Make him fight for the chance to have me, because I know that deep down I’m worth it.

~April MacIntyre

*Strike is book three in the Spark series. It can be read as a stand-alone, but continues on with characters from Spark and Spike.

*Recommended for 18+ as it contains very steamy sex with motocross boys *sigh*.

This book is fantastic!! It just goes to show that people can change and with the right support, you can go far!! Spencer and April have a connection as soon as they meet. Spencer and his wild ways proves he doesn't know how to love, until he meets April. I don't like to spoil stories for everyone but this book is a fantastic story and it still has previous characters from 'Spark' and 'Spike' involved. You have done it again Jennifer!!

Wow what can I say about not only this book Strike but the whole Spark Series. I've had a A Spark Marathon in the past week..... and what an amazing ride it's been...

I absolutely Love Love Loved Aidan Stone and wasnt overly keen on Spencer Jones in the earlier books.... I found him to be a bit of a play boy... that all comes to an end when Spencer meets a beautiful firey girl in a cafe called April..... Spencer see's April and immediately smitten with her......

April is a very strong "ballsy" women who want take any s*** from anyone... Their relationship is a roller coaster ride..... especially when they both discover who each other really is..... April is the Daughter of Spencer's MX Team Manager and an awesome photographer.... she goes to the races taking photo's and discovers that her Spencer is Jone's from her Daddy's team.... the s*** hits the fan when Daddy finds out they are seeing each other......

The ride you are taken through in this book is amazing.... I would highly recommend not just this book but the whole Strike Series.... This is my first introduction into the life of MX Boys and I'm hooked......I literally cannot wait for the next installment in the series...

Congratulations Jennifer Ryder on another fantastic book.......

I received an ARC in exchange for an honest review.

I must say I was nervous going into another Spark Series book.. Why?? Because I LOVE Aiden Stone!!! How can you not?? But then I was introduced to a character named Spencer. Yep.. Spencer Jones. And boy did my heart start to melt. Don't get me wrong - Aiden is still my main MX man, but Spencer made his way into my heart.

April is a strong women. She is a woman most women will understand. She has been hurt in the past and wants something and someone real. The games she puts Spencer through were great. But what surprised me is that Spencer went along with it. Because he wanted April and would do anything to win her over.

It was great to see the whole gang back. The Stone twins are so cute. Eevie certainly has her hands full there but with the love and support of Aiden they are all going great.

Spencer and April share a journey together that true love stories are made from. It isn't an easy ride to get where they want to be and you will have to read Strike to see if they get there.

I highly recommend this book. Especially if you have read the other books in the series.

Jennifer as an author is getting better with every book. I can't wait to see where she takes us next.

By the way - I want some Mofo Chilli Wings!!

Oh Jones! Manwhore. Commitmentphobe. Untouchable. And then there’s Spencer. Attentive. Delicious and just so loveable. How the hell those two are the same person – takes a truly masterful author.
I’ll be the first to admit. Couldn’t stand Jones. Wanted nothing to do with him while reading about him in Spike and then to find out he gets his own story – let’s just say, wasn’t thrilled. And true to his form, his emotional detachment to anything remotely to do with a relationship is blindingly obvious.
Now, let’s get to April. I get why the author says she’d turn for April, totally understand what she means. I think there’s a beautiful fragility to April’s character that it’s hard for anyone to not to also fall in love with her. I love how she calls all the shots when it comes to Spencer. She really did make the boy into a man.
The writing in this book is seamless. I love the wit from the characters – even when they are in their turmoil – the writing hits your right in the heart and I was waiting for him to walk after April finally allowed him completely into her life but I’m glad to say – he didn’t. If anything, he fought the good fight and came out on top. Like I said – he’s a man now. The love triangle is well written even though we all know who is the owner of April’s heart.
The way Ryder brings in characters is another strength for her. Their introductions are seamless and they add to the variety and complexity of each book.
I bought my own copy of this book. This can be read as a standalone but where’s the fun in that? Strike is book three in the series following Spark and Spike.
