This Anthology has a little bit of everything. You have a broad range of fantastic characters, mechanics, amnesiac, Navy, best friends, College, virgin, near drowning and the list goes on.

Key highlights for me were:

Jody Pardo- Left Swipe Chronicles, a laugh a minute.
Jaye Cox- Love in Photographs , the story of an amnesiac.
Cherry Shephard- Precious, the woes of being a virgin.

Having said that all the books were fantastic and I cannot put them all in here. Sorry.

It's a series that you just can't put down until you finish the book.

5.0 out of 5 stars Must get through.... One. More. Story... Can't put it down 20 January 2016
By Anna B - Published on
This is a wonderful collection of romance stories with something for everyone. I really wish some of these were longer as I could see how the stories would be so amazing with more details. I do not usually gravitate toward novella type books (much less short stories) but these grabbed my attention and held on. I loved that I could get through a story in one sitting.

There a certain sense of satisfaction that I got from getting to the end of a good story quickly, but at the same time it left me wanting more. Many book lovers will know this feeling all too well. That sense of completion can also feel like a loss at the end. I opened the book for the last time and thought I was halfway through, only to realize I got through it so quickly I hardly had time to savor it. I'm just glad I can read it again.

5.0 out of 5 stars Fabulous Anthology 18 January 2016
By Janiegirl - Published on
I am a prolific reader and I really enjoy a good romance. I typically am not a short story fan because I like to really invest myself in the characters.

With that being said, this anthology was totally worth the read. There were so many amazing stories contained in here. I loved that while they were all united by the kiss theme, several different genres were represented. There is something for everyone in this book. I found a few new authors that I have added to my "to read" list. You can't ask for better than that. Enjoying a good book, and finding more books that you will enjoy. I completely recommend Story of a Kiss!

5.0 out of 5 stars The SOAK anthology is a GREAT collection of short stories 7 January 2016
By Teresa K. - Published on
The SOAK anthology is a GREAT collection of short stories. Reading anthologies such as these are a wonderful way to meet and discover new authors that I may have never read before. Jody Pardo's Left Swipe Chronicles was definitely hands down my favorite story in the collection. I also really enjoyed Never Regret by Taylor Sullivan and Wrong Time by Emma Marie Leigh. I would highly recommend this book if you are looking to read short stories by a diverse group of authors.

5.0 out of 5 stars A breathtaking collection of unforgettable kisses 12 February 2016
By Liz Gavin - Published on

The good thing about a collection of short stories is that there’s all kinds of stories in it. The bad thing about a collection of short stories is that there’s all kinds of stories in it. I mean you can choose the type of read you prefer and ignore the ones you don’t like. That’s good. On the other hand, you can buy a book with nine hundred pages and end up reading about a third of it. That’s NOT the case with SOAK. You’ll want to read them all. Moreover, you’ll want to read more of each one of these lovely, heart-warming, and sometimes plainly steamy stories. Another rarity with anthologies is that SOAK delivers what it promises – thirteen great stories and ‘thirteen kisses you’ll never forget’.
It would be a very close race if I were to name a favorite story among these thirteen because the collection is very eclectic. You’ll find first kisses, lost loves, and even time travel. But the story that stuck longer with me was Crazy Beautiful Kisses. Not only because Colin Williams is g-o-r-g-e-o-u-s and perfect and my newest book boyfriend but in fact because Kathryn L. James does a great job at tackling such a sensitive issue with grace and delicacy. No spoilers. Also because of the way she builds the story and sets the two main characters as old friends was very clever. It made the couple’s feelings seem more real and believable. Again I’m being deliberately vague in order to avoid spoilers.
Bottom line here is – these unforgettable kisses will take your breath away and leave you wanting more. After all, is that what unforgettable kisses are all about?
