Man oh man, I don't know how Jaymin and Everly write such amazing books that leave me desperate for more but they do, and I'm not sure whether to love or hate them because now I have to wait for the next addition to come out and I want it NOW!!! This is an amazing continuation from The Princess Must Die, and it picks off exactly from where we left off. There are is so may new things revealed or hinted at in this book and I'm desperate to find out more, especially that ending... AHHHH!!!!!
I'm absolutely obsessed with the gargoyles and everything that is going on with them, and their knowledge of the history of events vs. the elves - so fascinating.

What can I say, so many intense moments! I had to remind my self to breathe,,,, I was constantly surprised by the way some of the characters acted/reacted to events. Well done for keeping the suspense, although I could have done without a cliffhanger at 11.30 pm

This book is fantastic such a strong female lead. Marbella is discovering everything she was taught is not neccesarily the truth. Learning those you may not trust can be come strong allies and don't accept everything at surface value. I cannot wait fot the next installment and to read more about Marabella and Baelans relationship.

Great read l literally could not put this book down ! I expected the princess to do some amazing feat when she got captured, but somehow the story took an unexpected twist it was binge worthy! Looking forward to seeing the end.

I am still enjoying this new series I find the story difficult to leave alone. I am about to start the third book immediately as this one finished leaving me hanging. I definitely can’t wait until tomorrow even though it’s 1am. 👍

Is this book as good as the first one? Yes! Does it live up to the high standards the first one set? Yes! Did I find myself as enraptured with everything still? Well yes, even more so than I did the first book actually. Honestly, this book is AMAZING! Sometimes the second book in a series is just never as good as the first one. Well for me, The Princess Must Strike was even better than the first book. Marbella has travelled into Gargoyle territory to save Baelen and oh what a fantastic story is weaved. Nothing goes as you expect and new characters are introduced, most who you really grow to care for but some who are just plain evil. When I read The Princess Must Die I said that was my favourite book of the year. Well this book then came along and this is now my favourite book this year. Question is, will the third one in this series top them all when it's released? I can't wait to see!
