Book 1 in the Bestselling Storm MC Series

Madison Cole's family is the Storm Motorcycle Club. Her father is the President and her brother is the VP. She grew up surrounded by bikers, crime and violence. Two years ago she walked away from her family and the world they live in. Her soul was shattered, her heart was broken and she had an addiction she couldn't shake. She picked up the pieces and put herself back together. Now her family wants her back. The club is being threatened and they send a club member to return her home to safety; the one person that could destroy everything she has worked so hard to build.

Jason Reilly has sacrificed a lot for the motorcycle club he calls family. Two years ago he made the biggest sacrifice of all; he gave up the woman he loved for them. Now he is being sent to bring her back and he is conflicted. He thought he was over her but discovers their connection is as strong as ever. Their love was all-consuming, passionate and fiery. It was also their undoing and he doesn't know if either of them is strong enough to battle the demons that ripped them apart, to find love again.

Madison and Jason are brought back together by a force out of their control; one that pushes them to a breaking point. Can they overcome their past and discover a love worth fighting for or will the harsh reality of their world finally and completely break them both?

  • "Storm is a good, fast-paced debut novel from Nina Levine and I look forward to reading more of the Storm MC stories!" - Book Bellas
  • "Overall, I think Ms. Levine did an excellent job for her debut book. She was able to capture and give readers an inside peek of the ins and outs of a motorcycle club family. As for Jason, he made the book. He was sexy, domineering, bad ass, and a total alpha male. Nothing can stop Jason when it comes to protecting Madison. It was clear that he meant business and will go at all cost to ensure the safety of Madison. As for Madison and J's relationship, their sexual chemistry and passion was SCORCHING HOT!!" - Michelle from Give Me Books

This is the 1st book I've read from this author and while I can see the series has potential this first book did fall just a tad short for me. It's not that I struggled to read it and at times it did capture my attention but for the most part the couple that was the main characters in this particular book, was just immature and made dumb decisions.
Jason was very alpha, gotta love a man who is protective! Madison I found hard to relate to and I could take her or leave her. Some things about her kind of irked me, and there were many times when I felt like she was just way too hard on Jason.
All in all, this was just and ok read for me. The secondary characters definitely intrigue me so I will be continuing with the series.

I found the writers style exceptional and refreshing. I loved that there wasn't a focus on the background and scenery in this, it was all about the characters, their issues and relationships and consequences.

What I cant believe (in a good way) is how much Nina Levine got into the story and there is hardly any questions left in need of answers, it is thoroughly action packed.

Madison is a great character her issues and how she has dealt with the past and now the future are really interesting she has got some fight in her and enough vulnerability to make her feminine. She is outright funny, sassy and a bit of a brat.

Jason is the hot biker and he doest come of quite as arrogant and pigheaded as many of the biker boys out today. His affection and love for Madison is seen quite clearly. I loved his alphaness though. I liked that he recognised his flaws and worked on them. I also loved his honesty.

As a couple they are well matched and after the two year break apart they now know what they want and are in it enough to fight for it.

The sexy scenes are mildly heated, but the lead up to these scenes was always electric.

I loved the unpredictability of the story at one point I was half way through and I thought the story was going to be finished and I was quite satisfied with that, but then pleasantly surprised when Nina Levine threw me for a loop and continued on with the story I had no idea where she would take it but she did it and it was great

There were some twists in there to that are worth the read. There is so much going on and not all the focus is on the main couple which I liked, you get more from the characters.

When Madison is sequestered back to the storm clubhouse she is full of anger and confusion. Having put her life back together after the devastating events from two years previous, she doesn’t appreciate being dragged back into the motorcycle club life, which was once her family. What is worse is that her feelings for J have resurfaced and she remembers all too well how that ended badly last time, but with Nix on the run and her life in danger she needs to keep safe and J is the only one who can guarantee that.
This is a brilliant, sexy start to what is promising to be an excellent series. The characters are set up nicely and the there’s plenty of room for drama. The sex scenes are tasteful and not overdone. There are only two things that I felt could be improved; firstly, J’s emotional grid was not as deep as it could have been and I think his character would have benefitted from more investment, the second is that the word ‘babe’ appears too often. These are minor issues in what is a fantastic book, I can’t wait to read the next in the series.

Wow Nina Levine what a ride!! I can't believe it's your debut novel!! Thank you for this wickedly, trance inducing read!! I'm so glad I stumbled onto this book (brought via iBooks).

I started this book not sure if I liked Motorcycle Club books, I not only LOVE Motorcycle Club books but you have a lifetime fan on your hands. I couldn't put it down & when I had to (sometimes life gets in the way of reading) I couldn't wait to be inside Storm MC & into the lives of Madi & J again. You made me laugh, cringe, cry & want to hit someone whilst reading this book.

If you like plenty of sex with an explosive ending, you'll definitely enjoy this one.

I'd never read a biker romance before and this book was interesting, if only for an insight into how different the relationships are in that kind of gang life.

I was in two minds about this one. There's plenty of action - clothed and unclothed - but there's far more detail spent on the unclothed kind, when I'd have liked to see the other sort fleshed out a little more to balance it out. That and...oh, my. In a particularly intimate scene, the hero feels the need to remind Madison that he has genitals. I laughed out loud at this point - I'm not sure I've ever met a man who had that problem. Perhaps riding a motorcycle all the time does strange things to a man's nether regions. Or Madison's taste in men is very different to mine.

The best part of the book for me was the ending. Levine had me in tears, dropping a twist on me that I definitely didn't expect.

How to rate this? I'd give the hero and his idea of romance three stars, as he's not my type and I couldn't understand Madison's preference for him...but the ending I'd give five stars, so I'll average it out to four, somehow.
