Stories for youngsters whose reading skills are pretty good.
12 October 2015 - Published on Amazon.com
For young readers who are ready for longer chapter books this collection of high interest short stories is just the ticket. The ten short stories are on topics (cockroaches, animals, hidden treasure and aliens) that are only high interest but humorous. I'd suggest using the illustrations (there are one or two for each story) to select the story you wish to read. There's no real need to read these tales in any special order. Once the child is hooked then he/she will want to read them all. All the authors of these stories Australian so some of the vocabulary is a tad "different" but that won't be a problem and actually adds to the book's enjoyment!
