Product Description

A Blood Courtesans Romance

As a child I was stolen, cornered into a life I never wanted. Now I'm eighteen and they've given me to a vampire.
Roman is the most beautiful man I have ever seen. He stirs up feelings inside me that I didn't know existed. I was raised to be the perfect blood courtesan, existing only to feed him and submit to his every whim, but the vampire won't lay a finger on me. He won't set me free either.
We're at an impasse.
Which of us will break first?

*Please note, this is a multi-author series and each book is a stand-alone. They do not need to be read in any order*

You understand why you’re here? To be a companion to a vampire. I’ll do everything I can to satisfy you. ME: *bows down* Hello Master. Is there any way I can *ahem* service you? What she said, but double. *naughty wink* WOW!! SIGN ME UP!!!! HOLY SMOKIN’ VAMPIRE, FANGMAN!! I kissed a Vampire and WHOA BABY! Did I EVER like it!! Hell, I LOVED IT!!! wink I am blown away by just how BLOODY WONDERFANG this story is!! The characters are well-developed & multifaceted, the storylines captivating, the story itself flows like blood through a vein, capturing my attention and my heart and never letting it go! THIS is the very reason I love, Love, LOVE Vampires so much!! Roman is ABSO-FREAKING-LUTELY hot, sexy and oh so very perfect!!! This may be my first taste of Marissa, but it is DEFINITELY not the last!! This book is so.. so... so ABSO-FANG-LUTELY AWESOME that I can't even find the words to explain WHY I love it so much other than IT'S ABSO-BLOODY-LUTELY VAMPIRETACULAR!!! Roman is a Vampire God to me! The exact kind of Vampire that drew me to them in the first place oh so many years ago, that had me addicted, craving more, and wishing, praying, dreaming & hoping that Vampires were real and that I would one day find my own immortal ever after love in his arms! Marissa has captured that love, that essence perfectly! Dakota is one very, VERY lucky gal!! What I wouldn't give to be her! And thanks to Marissa, I WAS Dakota! Well, at least for the length of the story I was! Marissa is one FANGNOMENALLY talented author who sucked me straight into the story right from the very beginning, urging me, compelling me to live the story with Dakota, AS Dakota, thoroughly & immensely enjoying every single second!! The magic of the blood bond defies description!Read more ›

This titillating tale is the beginning of the second standalone series of the Blood Courtesans and what a wondrous story it is. Sultry vampires, raging jealousy, betrayal, action, suspense, life-threatening incidents, secrets, lies unfold, and tears, accompany burning sensual romance. Yes, there is a happy ending but conquering the obstacles of impending danger is imperative.

Dakota was stolen as a toddler from her family to become a well-trained Blood Courtesan. In a hidden compound, shielded from the outside world she is trained by a woman she calls mother. The girls, stolen are well educated and taught proper etiquette to enter the world of vampires. At the age of eighteen, they are sold for a considerable amount of money; their untouched status is wanted by many vamps. Dakota is sold to Roman a strikingly handsome sexy vamp who wants her but avoids his need. Roman has a secret, and unbeknownst to him, a deadly danger is coming for him.

The plot moves quickly and you are immediately drawn into the story with credible characters and breathtaking vivid scene descriptions. Though Roman is her master, Dakota fears him not and stands up to his arrogant demeanor; loved her character. Adored Roman and his secret is heartbreaking. Their romance gets a bumpy start, but the conclusion is so very sweet. The story is definitely entertaining and holds your interest until the end. I do look forward to the next book in this series. If you treasure vampire romance, this is a fabulous book for your library. In the world of vampire romance, the magic begins with the first thought to paper. {I voluntarily reviewed this advanced reader copy and I have not been compensated in any way}. Without reservations, I recommend this book

I absolutely love the Blood Courtesan stories and this one is no exception.

Dakota was kidnapped from her abusive mother as a child and raised to be a blood courtesan. She has been brainwashed to believe everything she has been told and when she is sold to a vampire who does not act as expected she struggles to adapt.
Roman bought a blood courtesan for the express purpose of gathering more information on the disappearance of his sister many years ago. Although Dakota is initially a means to the information she quickly becomes more.
As the relationship between Dakota and Roman develops their individual pasts collide, and their feelings towards each other mean that the enemy has something on them.

I really enjoyed the interaction between Dakota and Roman. I enjoyed the developing awareness of Dakota as she emerges from her brainwashing, and I loved how Roman didn't take advantage of her. This is a very enjoyable addition to the Blood Courtesans series.

I received a copy for an honest review.

Cannot say too much without giving the plot away.
I did wonder what Romans game was in the beginning but once he told his story it all fell into place and came together.
I have not like Madam from the beginning but this story really showed her to be what she was. Those poor girls.
Well this book really sorted a few things out and I can say I was pleased with the ending.
This is my honest review of this book.

5.0 out of 5 stars Another good Blood Courtesan story. 2 November 2016

I must say that I really love the Blood Courtesan series. Each story is different, but each book is about vampires and blood courtesans. Since there are a variety of authors, you get many different takes on the same subject. It is always exciting to see how and what path each book is going to take. Stolen took a very different path, but was very interesting and well done. Roman and Dakota started off with a major miscommunication which confuses and angers Dakota. She doesn't understand what is going on with Roman and cannot figure out why she is there. Finally, Roman let's her in on what is behind his behavior, and that is when all sorts of action starts happening. Dakota turns out to be very brave and strong. This is good, because when they have to deal with Mother, it gets pretty tense. And let me tell you Mother is a real mother *****r! I really enjoyed this book. My only complaint is that I didn't want it to end. I am really looking forward to the next Blood Courtesan book. I voluntarily reviewed an advance copy of this book.

3.0 out of 5 stars I enjoyed some of the other books in the series a lot more. 13 December 2016

I'm disappointed, I was hoping for a real good read. I've liked most of the other books in this series. The flow on this was stop & go. It barely drew me in or held my interest. This really felt disjointed, like parts of the story are missing, so parts didn't feel cohesive. The story didn't intrigue me enough to care about Dakota with her bizarre attitude or Roman of the hot and cold feelings towards Dakota. Maybe if I understood his reasoning for the way he behaved with Dakota -might have helped me to like him. I would not consider this one of the better Courtesans books.
5.0 out of 5 stars Loved this book! 20 January 2017

I loved this book it is Dakota's book and she's been trained to be a blood courtesan most of her life it's all she's ever known besides faint unpleasant memories from her childhood but she's determined to not fail what will be her job once she's bought by a vampire. This kept my attention and seemed to ebb and flow nicely throughout it was well written and made me want to read the rest of the series to see what happens to the other blood courtesans throughout the series. It's not overly long but not too short either so it doesn't take forever to read or to quickly it's the right length for the book and it's and enjoyable book plus anyone whom loves vampires will enjoy this book.

Well I got my pre orderedcopy today, and As I have been waiting on getting this latest addition to the blood courtesans family, I sat right on down and began reading! Now despite interuptions ie shopping, eating tea, etc I have finished the book. I loved it wonderful read held my interest from whoa to go, plenty of interesting happenings, to keep your interest, and a HEA to keep me happy. To say I enjoyed this book from Marissa Farrar is an understatement I loved it!! This is a different take in the blood courtesans storyline being that these girls hVe been stolen as young girls. These are very Interesting characters, Dakota the newest of the blood courtesans and Roman who purchased her are lovely and well devoloped characters and I really think there could be further books of these lovers and I would be first in line to purchase the next installment Marissa.... totally loved this book........ when did you say the next book is coming out??
5.0 out of 5 stars Wow...Emotional Ride 21 January 2017

When I first started reading this book I thought I would have to jump in and smack that vampire upside the head and wake him up. That was until I realized what he was doing, he wanted to save her, or maybe use her. You will have to make your own decisions on that.

How would you feel being locked up and trained to be something only to have that someone you were trained for didn't want you? This book had your emotions all over the place, but you will enjoy the ride.

Until Next Time... Tabi
