In terms of pros, the audio quality was the best of the gaming headsets I've used. If not for the other glaring problems like the bad microphone, difficulty in wearing for extended periods (due to leather cushions and awkward headband) and 3.5 jack trading customisation for compatibility with other devices, I'd recommend it. As it stands I'd only recommend it to those that don't mind leather pads and plan to use a standalone mic to accompany it, in which case this headset is probably more of a budget choice and not your first option. At that point, avoid gaming headsets entirely and pick up good headphones with a standing mic.
I messed around with this for hours - changing default formats, disabling stereo mix, reinstalling audio drivers, using both front and back 3.5 ports, but either had issues with my microphone playing the game audio as if it was an output (to the dismay of everyone else in a call) or just terrible microphone quality. Due to the nature of only using 3.5 jacks it means that there is no software that can help to remedy the issues, you are stuck with whatever the operating system or sound card software has which wasn't enough to resolve it. If you do buy this, have the microphone further away from your face than what feels normal. It does make a major difference.
In terms of comfort I think reviews will never do you justice. Headsets will fit everyone differently. I wrongly assumed that leather pads would be fine, but any sign of warm weather makes it intolerable to wear these for more than a couple of hours as they press a bit closer on the ear for noise cancelling which just gets horrible fast - you can find replacement fabric cushions either aftermarket here on Amazon or officially, but I gave up with this headset before they arrived. I'll stick to fabric based cushions in future. The adjustable headband is finicky and a poor alternative to simply sliding the headset's position that many other headsets are capable of.
Essentially - don't bother with these. The increase in audio quality is not worth sacrificing everything else a gaming headset requires.
