I bought this book without any prior reading up on it, I didn't even finish the digital demo, I was just excited for anything Kenobi. This ended up working against me as for a decent chunk of the book I found myself questioning my choices and cursing myself. But luckily once everything started moving, it became a lot more enjoyable. I found parts of the book slow, as there were clear themes in the breathing sections, wondering "Where the heck can it go from here?" the book almost felt like a series of episodes from 'The Clone Wars' but in a way we had never seen Kenobi before.
This book had a fantastically small scope, I'd heard it described as a "Western take on Star Wars" I'd say that's quite accurate. In the words of the worlds fearless leader "Great book! Don't listen to those FAKE NEWS reviews on it, small scope, big heart! Loved it."
