Product description
Whatever you call it, we respect it. We know that hot cup of steamy goodness is what gets you out of bed and through the day. That's why we've invented the classic vacuum French press to keep that caffeinated Gold hot and keep you sane throughout the day. Pour in your grounds, pour in boiling water, place the insulated lid on with the plunger handle pulled up, wait 5 minutes and press plunger handle down. Perfect, beautiful brew in minutes. Rugged enough for the campsite and cool enough for the kitchen.

So this is pretty much one of the only products out there that is insulated and full size so I won't be returning it despite a problem.
Grounds slip past the edge of the screen and contaminate the coffee worse than any glass press I've ever owned, not extreme and you can mitigate it by pouring with care but this is a comparison to about a half dozen different class presses. I might be able to bend the spring or replace the screen to stop stuff from slipping past, nobody else is making this product so I guess I'll have to try that.
Good job with minimal packaging Stanley... Similar containers usually cost less though, I think the price is a little higher due to low competition in this niche.
If you really don't like grounds in your coffee I suggest getting yours from a local brick and mortar store to facilitate return if the grittyness is a deal-breaker.

Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice, get a bad review and have me rethink my brand loyalty.

- there is a line inside that seem like the obvious spot to fill to, but you will learn quickly that if you fill it to the line, then you get a bunch of grounds in your coffee. You can only fill to the spot *below* the line where the lining gets narrower. They should have had the lining go right to the top.
- there is a mark on the lid to show where to align the lid to pour, however the mark is a triangle that is very lightly engraved and barely visible unless you turn it to just the right angle in the right light, and good luck finding it if the lid is wet from rinsing. The mark should be engraved deeper and/or coloured in black to contrast against the silver.
