I can HIGHLY RECOMMEND these STACY ADAMS Men's Flemming Cap-Toe Oxford shoes.
"Bad" reviews are probably the easiest ones to write. "Good" reviews are more difficult.
In the case of these shoes, there isn't much to say that goes beyond the headline and the first sentence. They REALLY ARE the most comfortable dress shoes I have had in many years.
I put them on the day after I received them and, though I didn't intend to do so, I wore them the entire day.
Then I did the same thing the next day.
Now I have put them away. I do not want to wear them out frivolously. I want to use them strictly as dress shoes.
I wear a 10-D (or Medium) - I have worn this size since I was in high school - and most shoes labeled this size fit me perfectly.
This pair is no exception.
But I have found, over the years, that dress shoes are somewhat uncomfortable, at least for me. They're not impossible to wear but they've all been far less comfortable than my everyday shoes (which are mostly loafers).
Not these though!
I put them on and it was like I had been wearing them for years. At least in my case, they require absolutely no break-in. As a matter of fact, they are the very first pair of dress shoes I have ever owned that require no break-in.
In addition, they are very well-constructed, the leather is good, and the soles and heels are good too. I do not wear dress shoes all that often so I expect that these will last for many, many years. (Upon receiving these and realizing just how good they are, I gave away my old, much less comfortable, dress shoes which were the same color.)
There just isn't anything else I can write except that, if you're reading this, don't wait - just buy a pair. I'm almost positive that you'll like them as much as I do.
Thank you for reading this and for considering my rather enthusiastic opinion.
