Fun costume.....lots of laughs watching my pre-teen waddle around Halloween night. People kept singing Baby Shark to him but it was all in good fun. My kid is about 5’6”....athletic build and it fit him perfectly. It’s a big/tall costume...hard to get through doors so it’s best to inflate once you’re outside. It’s fully enclosed so he could wear warmer clothes underneath for our cooler Halloween night while the other kids were freezing. The fan never went out on one set of batteries and he never got any snags in the fabric with all that running in the neighbourhood.... so the quality is better then average for a Halloween costume.
So... Where are you supposed to put your hands? The pics and description from others make it seem as though you put your hands into the fins. That would make sense for holding things like a Halloween bucket or at the very least bracing yourself in a fall. However, the hole size for your hands to get through is only slightly larger than a quarter. I don't know a single person besides an infant that would be able to get their hand through that. At first I thought it was a defect but both sides are the same. Super disappointed because my son can't wear this.

He said he was very warm, huge plus for me! My neighbors got a huge kick out of it when we were blowing it up. He can move just fine. If you want a great laugh and put a smile on people's faces buy this costume, when he ran in it I about lost it because of the full on waddle that took place! Somehow this warmed my heart and I couldn't be happier!

Omword! This is seriously so cute and I just couldn't get enough watching my son waddle in it😍😍 My son is 11 years old, 5foot and very thin, this is the adult size but my son is able to see out of it just fine, it is bigger than it probably should be on him but i was also trying to find something that would be warm for him this year as it's only supposed to be about 34 degrees on Halloween. I have a son who is between child and adult sizes. He wanted to be a shark for Halloween so I found this and bought it. We went trick or treating in the center of our town (there are literally thousands of kids) and the reaction he got from kids and adults was priceless! He was stopped every few minutes, was high fiving other kids and hugging the little ones that thought he was baby shark. The costume itself is very well made, works on batteries and stayed inflated the entire evening (I had batteries in my pocket for back up but never had to use them). The costume is very durable as well. although his tail dragged a little on the ground there was no damage at the end of the night. He told me he wants to be this again next year if his older sister don't take it from him!

I completely underestimated the size: It is huge! The fan is super quiet. It seems like it will be warm when you are getting in, but, once it inflates, it is comfortable. The only (minor) issue is the zipper doesn't have an interior pull, which makes zipping up the last inch a little challenging, but that's not a big deal.

Hysterical Huge Shark

This costume is hysterical. I bought it because 1) I love sharks and 2) there was a rebate that made it worth taking a chance. It is worth every penny. I completely underestimated the size: It is huge! The fan is super quiet. It seems like it will be warm when you are getting in, but, once it inflates, it is comfortable. The only (minor) issue is the zipper doesn't have an interior pull, which makes zipping up the last inch a little challenging, but that's not a big deal.
