Wear this while log carrying, farmers walk, atlas stones, deadlifts, squats,ohp, sprints and rowing. Works like a charm get to record my heart rate on heavy loaded carries. When I get tired I loosen the band and push it up my forearm when I get fatigued and use straps. Seems to do a decent job of protecting apple watch against bumps and scrapes.

Love my G Shocks, this strap had 'that' feel to it. Was loving it, until after about 2 weeks use, I developed a rash reaction to the strap. Have gone back to the silicon strap from Apple. Sad to let it go. Not sure why I reacted to the strap.

Nice looking, but not that tough

First impressions are good. It looks great on my series 5 watch.
I’ve always worn G-Shock watches so this is right up my street.
However.. after a fortnight of wearing it it, today I did the first bit of manual labour - I cleaned the car.
The strap caught lightly on the bonnet lip whilst I was washing the windscreen and that contact was enough to break the buckle!
A very light knock and this happens. Nowhere near enough force to scratch the car paintwork but clearly its enough for the very weak buckle.

Its held in place by a spring loaded pin, so I’ve managed to fix it for now. Let’s see if it holds out.
One thing I do know after this incident is that if someone grabbed my watch it would come off my arm instantly as the buckle pin would simply give way again.

I will update the review in a few months if the pin holds or fails.

Great strap! Only used it for two days so will update my review if anything happens.

The fit is perfect for my series 5, the watch pops right in and all the holes line up perfectly.

The strap feels sturdy and secure, there were other reviews with concerns about the buckle but mine looks absolutely solid and doesn’t give me any worries after giving it a bit of a twist around to test it.

The main thing that struck me was how well the strap matches up with the quality of the watch itself. I’m a bit of a stickler for that kind of thing and any crappy looking plastic would put me right off but this strap really does fit and actually make the watch on par with how a GShock or similar looks. Nice and chunky but not massive.

The strap looks nice and has little touches like carbon fibre effects on it and it feels smooth on the wrist with no pinch.

Finally, my other concern was the watch getting scratched up by the case itself, well, because the material is hard plastic it doesn’t shift around or move about like something soft would do so I have no concerns there and have been checking it regularly for anything amiss.

Finally the packaging is surprisingly nice too, a little cube box that looks quality and has instructions on the side and no “engrish”!

10/10 from me so far, go for it!
