I didn't think I could love Spencer and Andrew more than I already did. It happened. This book makes me wish there was a big gold buzzer I could press, you know like in those talent shows, that would make it automatically go to number one.

To all those who expressed their disappointment with the first one because there was "no sex," well, good things come to those who wait. Strap yourselves in, load up on protein ;) and enjoy the ride!

5.0 out of 5 stars Amazing 18 March 2016
By Foxylutely Books! - Published on Amazon.com
Format: Kindle Edition
The second book in the amazing Spencer Cohen series, follows on from Spencer and Andrew deciding to take a chance on a relationship and they are now ‘officially dating’.

When taking on a new client, Spencer knows he needs to be honest with Andrew in that he is still taking on clients. However this new client feels a little ‘off’ and appears to be not what he portrays – a heartbroken man searching for his boyfriend. Not a usual scenario for Spencer but when he finds the boyfriend then things take a near sinister turn.

My adoration for this series continues. I absolutely love Spencer and Andrew. The way they both start to open up to each other, especially Spencer about his past. Aww heart churning. It’s also a ‘meet the parents’ and what a shocker for Spencer that turns out to be. What awesome parents Andrew has. As for the passion whoo hoo! I know we didn’t get much action between the sheets in the first book (slow build is the name of the game after all) but it more than makes up for it in book two. These two cannot keep their hands of each other! Scorching.

The chemistry, passion and interactions between Andrew and Spencer were a page turner. I could not get enough. I loved how Andrew has come out of his shell and starts taking the lead in some scenarios. Spencer was more than happy with that. The gang from the ink shop were also back and keeping us entertained, especially Emilio and his ‘acting’ - what a cool dude!

This is not a series you can just jump into and try and catch up, you really need to read in order. Book one sets the scene and the tension, book two is the uncorking the passion and love so now just waiting to see the crescendo in book three. I cannot wait. Five ‘toothbrushes say it all’ stars.

5.0 out of 5 stars Absolutely LOVE Spencer and Andrew! 5 stars! 17 March 2016
By Carra at Making it Happen blog - Published on Amazon.com

If you're a fan of M/M contemporary romance and you haven't started this series yet, stop what you're doing and go one-click both books now (seriously, I'll wait until you get back). I don't hand out my top recommendations lightly, but N.R. Walker has absolutely stolen my heart with this series. And yes, you must read book one first or you'll be totally lost (really, I'm waiting for you to finish one-clicking...).

There is no way anyone could not love Spencer and Andrew. The phrase "made for each other" had to have been crafted with the two of them in mind, because once you've read this it becomes blatantly obvious that they truly are perfect together. I could get really soppy and sweet here about the two of them, and that's not normally me. But I can also tell you that the lack of naughty stuff in the first book...did not continue here in the second.

Oh, there's still teasing. Because Andrew doesn't want to rush things between them, even if he has a really, really HARD time slowing things down. When the two of them are together, they are funny and sweet with a huge dash of sexy-a combination that will have you glued to the pages just like I was. While the circumstances that brought them together in book one were resolved, now you get the fun of watching their budding relationship start to grow while still having a small twist thrown in with Spencer's latest client.

Even with all of the funny moments, hot and sexy moments, and terrifying-I'm-never-getting-into-a-car-driven-by-anyone-named-Lola moments, the author still injects several shots of emotion into the story. These come courtesy of elements of Spencer's past surfacing when certain aspects of his current client's case become known, as well as when both Andrew and Spencer discover exactly where their feelings for each other are heading.

It all makes for another fantastic story, and has me desperately counting down the days (AGAIN) until the next book...because I don't want to stop reading about these two.
And without my consent, with my defences in ruins, while my brain was sleeping, my stupid heart went and fell headfirst into love.

5 fantastic stars for book two of the Spencer Cohen series, and I can tell you that this is my favorite series so far this year (and it's making it's way to favorite all-time M/M)...and it's going to be pretty freaking difficult to knock this series from that spot. This is a top recommendation for me, especially for those M/M romance fans 18+ who love a lot of funny mixed in to their guys falling in love (18+ for adult language and M/M sexual content...oh, that content...long awaited, and so very worth the wait).

5.0 out of 5 stars Loved! 13 April 2016

~I received a free copy of this book to read and review for Wicked Reads Review Team~
This book picks up right after the first book ends, you need to read the first book or you will not have all the back story. The dynamics with Spencer and Andrew have changed and I am so happy!!! I just love these two together, they get each other and they are so perfect for each other. When they decide to be a couple Spencer doesn’t think it will be a big deal to take on a new client. Andrew is hesitant but agrees that it is Spencer’s job and he trusts him. Turns out this client isn’t like all the others. Spencer has a gut feeling about this client and he can’t seem to shake it, with the help of his friends and Andrew he gets to the bottom of the situation. When things end with the client we end up having a new character, Yanni who you can’t help but want to reach through your e-reader and hug. This book had just as many emotions as the first and was even steamier! Can’t wait for the conclusion!
Characters: well written and believable
Sex: yes
Religious: no
Would I recommend to others: yes
More than one book in the series: yes
Genre: M/M Romance
Would I read more by this author: yes

5.0 out of 5 stars Never had a series caught me by the balls and held on tight...figuratively speaking. N.R. has done it again! 20 April 2016

THE BEST RELATIONSHIPS USUALLY BEGINS UNEXPECTEDLY.

Book two of the Spencer Cohen series picks up following Andrew's decision and Spencer emotional break at thinking Andrew was walking out of his life. After all, this was what Spencer had been hired to do, right?

Everyone could see Spencer falling hard for Andrew, they had warned him, but the heart wants what the heart wants. "From day one, you weren't like any other guy I'd worked for. And I tried to keep it all separate...I have a stupid heart, and a stupid brain..."

Andrew was the yin to his yang. And even though told in first person, the reader had a small privy to what Andrew was feeling through Spencer's descriptive sentences.

Run, don't walk. Read book one then indulge in this book.

Book two upped the heat for these two, yet it was so sweet you could feel the fire. The secondary characters were all a riot and enhanced the book to its full effect. I adored the cover book references and both Spencer and Andrew's willingness to move toward relationship status.

4.0 out of 5 stars Great addition to the series... 2 April 2016
By S Black - Published on Amazon.com
Format: Kindle Edition
I willl start off by saying I wasn't the biggest fan of the first book in The Spencer Cohen series. I'm not sure if it was just the frame of mind I was in or what the problem was because this book contains the same characters and I loved it.
Book Two stars out with a little rehash of the ending of Book One and takes off from there. Spencer and Andrew make the decision that they are going to date, but take it slowly, meaning no sex. Well... no sex to an extent, until they felt the time was right. Spencer takes on a new client, but has a bad feeling about him from the start and ends up investigating the client. Spencer and Andrew spend a lot of time getting to know each other and figuring out what their relationship could be.
This book is definitely not a stand alone because the MC's are the same as Book One, they are just moving further into their relationship. So, if you haven't read the first book, you really should.
I'm not sure what the difference was, but I liked this book more than the first. Spencer and Andrew have just decided they are going to give a relationship a try and this book spends a lot of time showing the two men getting to know each other and all the things that go into it. I liked their interactions, from the texts, conversations, cooking to buying toothbrushes. It was the fun, new relationship stuff that makes everyone happy.
I think N. R. Walker has done an excellent job with this book. I like the story line and it is just an easy book to sit down and lose yourself in for a few hours. There is enough between Spencer and Andrew's new relationship and Andrew's new client to keep you reading until you turn the last page.
I think this was a great addition to the series and I do look forward to book three to find out where things go for the couple.
