After two days boy is a sniffling, slobbering mess. WTF. Get a grip mate! I couldn’t like these characters.
I’ll give a Walker another chance but not this series.
Spencer was such a breath of fresh air. This was such a funny, smart, amazing and sweet book about getting to know someone and it just made me happy. Can't wait for the rest of the series.
There were moments that had me sniggering, moments of “aww how cute” and some good chemistry between the MCs.
I love Spencer and his bluntness, he has no problem just blurting out what he thinks (which had me sniggering).
I love Andrew and his awkwardness and how shy he is but then he has this bossy and confident side that definitely makes Spencer hot and flustered.
This is definitely a cute, funny and quick read and one I am looking forward to continuing the rest of this series.
I was really intrigued by the Spencer’s job. It was so completely different in job roles to any other book that I have read before and that is what helped make this book just so different to other books. We don’t have the billionaire or the construction work or the doctor. We have this preppy and sexy looking “relationship fixer”. It was such a great idea for the author to do choose this as a career. Well done on this part, loved it.
It’s during this role that Spencer meets Andrew and what a connection! The banter was just perfect and so spot on. Being an Aussie myself I loved that Spencer was Australian and his use of Aussie slang words was just brilliant.
I really, really enjoyed the whole of the 3 books. They are sweet, romantic, antsy and honest. Please, please keep writing MM Romances as you do such a fantastic job with complex and wonderful characters and incredible storylines. This is a feel good, romance with a HEA and we all love those!

"And then there was you."
I've had this book for a while now and for some reason I've been putting it off.
WHY YOU ASK?
Only reason I can think of is because I'm dumb.
OH MY GAWWDDDD.
So Spencer moved from Australia to L.A. two years ago. He has a great group of friends and a job he loves.
His job? Being a fake boyfriend. Helping his clients ex see what they've been missing to get a end result - the couple getting back together or ending for good.
It's his job that brings Andrew Landon into the picture - still hung up on his ex after their abrupt ending, his sister pushes him towards Spencer and his services to get some answers.
Andrew - OMG I love him so much. He is so freaking adorable. I hated that he self doubted so much but man, there was something endearing about it too. I loved seeing him slowly but surely coming out of his shell with Spencer and his surprising one liners or just the things he said that you really weren't expecting from him! Also loved his love for music and art. I just loved HIM!
This is all told from Spencer's POV and while I'm a huge lover of dual POV I was actually, really ok with it here being told only from Spencer's POV but I definitely would have loved to get Andrew's a time or two.
Now,Spencer. Like I mentioned above we get it from Spencer's POV,so I guess I may have connected with and loved Spencer a tad bit more. His tattoos, his witty sense of humour, his innuendos that made Andrew blush, his sarcasm and then the cracks starting to show his vulnerability beneath it all. GAH. So much love.
'There is something cathartic about having your scars inked into your skin.'
These two are so incredibly cute. The humour between the two and learning things about each other. The fact that the reason the are actually in each other's lives melted away when they were together.
The chemistry between them.
The near touches.
'This kiss wasn't for show. It wasn't a part of my deal to make his ex jealous; this was me, kissing him because I wanted him.'
I totally have to mention Spencer's friends because they are awesome!! Especially Lola she had me cracking up!
This was a really great start to a series
As soon as he meets Andrew, his latest client, whose fiance has walked out on him, he realises things are different; he finds himself wanting to do things with Andrew that he wouldn't normally do with a client, he feels drawn to Andrew, and wants to spend more time with him than would be usual for a job. He realises that he's falling for him, (that kiss! Sigh ') even though he should know better, he knows it's just another job, or should be just another job. When Eli, Andrew's ex shows up, what follows is truly heart breaking. Or is it? Does Andrew really want Spencer?
There is no sex in this book, but there are some lovely moments between the two MCs, they are obviously attracted to one another and it sets the series up beautifully. Spencer and Andrew are so well written, as are the secondary characters. I can't wait for the remaining books in this series. A must read, especially if you're a fan of Ms Walker.
Spencer and Andrew are so real, it felt like I was actually there with them! NR Walker is one of my favourtie authors and this book didn't disappoint; in fact, it exceeded my expectations.
The supporting characters are strong.
Spencer Cohen has humour which is sometimes lacking in this genre; this book has humour and laugh out loud moments in abundance. I smiled constantly while reading it. I'm still smiling while thinking about it.
I've read this once, but will read it again and again. It has become a favourite already (and I am quite a fussy reader!).
Bravo NR Walker. Fantastic!!!
