Product Description

Hailey Holloway’s life may not be flashy or exciting but it’s enough for her. After a late night at work, Hailey stumbles upon two dragons brawling in the middle of Philadelphia. In an act of kindness and lapse of sanity, she comforts the dragon that was left behind to die. In doing so she inadvertently invited the soul of Dacea into herself for safe keeping. Hailey just wants to live her life as simply and quietly as possible but with the voice of a disembodied dragon in her head, she has little hope of achieving her goal.

Dacea will do anything to be free of Hailey, a human who is moments from checking herself into a psychiatric ward. He is grateful to be alive, but at what cost to his sanity? The dragon world is in upheaval. Green is at war with Red, and he is of no use to anyone while stuck with Hailey.

The solution to their problem is not without its risks. But just how far will Hailey go to be free of the dragon?

2.0 out of 5 stars World building not complete 22 February 2015

Story contradicts itself in many places. Mates can not live without each other. Yet lo and behold widowed mates.

To me, Hailey is not charming, she is immature. The so called banter was irritating. Overall a pass. The book could have been okay, but the world building was way to incomplete.

Mostly beginning author type errors. I have no doubt in her head everything made sense, but whomever proofread this missed spelling, grammar and plot line issues.

3.0 out of 5 stars 2.5 stars 28 July 2016

More like 2.5 stars. It wasn't terrible but it definitely wasn't great. I found the "witty" banter to be more irritating and juvenile than anything. This was told in third person with multiple viewpoints. Several times I had trouble distinguishing which character was talking until several paragraphs into the chapter. Much of the story was all over the place; they hate each other, they love each other, he can't wait to be free of her blah blah blah. The world building and dragon details were rather vague. I will be continuing the series at this point since I already downloaded all four books.

Loved the beginning of the series but I haven't gotten around to the ending of this series past this one book
I have the others but I haven't gotten to them yet.
Funny, witty and makes me smile just thinking about this book
Whats not to love
But I gotta say I had to take away a star because of the drop off ending but thats just me
Can't wait to get caught up

3.0 out of 5 stars It's got no spark 31 March 2015

This story is very slow and boring in parts. I was very disappointed in the exchange between the main characters. They didn't seem to like each other very much. Even when they were supposed to have feelings for each other it seemed very unbelievable. The worst was the very unsatisfying ending. There was all this build up then you jump scene. I don't think i will be getting her next book.

1.0 out of 5 stars Had potential but needed work. 12 August 2015

Aspects of this book were good but it needed a serious edit. There were parts that felt rushed and under developed and the typos drove me crazy!
