I bought this book because of the great review! It was totally justified. I laughed out loud, read book from start to finish as I couldn't put it down and had a few tears in my eyes a couple of times. Plot really interesting - unlike many other books - as near perfection as I've come across in years.
Any downsides. Yes! I expected all of Lynne Graham's books to have that extra something. They don't. Unfortunately she's gone down the same road as many other Modern Romance authors and some of her other books are 198 pages of total misery and 2 pages of happy ending with cardboard characters.
THIS BOOK, HOWEVER, IS SO GOOD I'VE READ IT 4 TIMES ALREADY AND STILL LOVE IT AS MUCH.
About to try another couple of Lynne's stories and if I find another gem I'll be sure to say so in a review.

Wonderful

Cesar is tall handsome, rich, clever and determinedly single, Dixie is small, scatty and wears baggy clothes, as a favour to his mentor , Jasper Cesar has given Dixie a job, she is a complete disaster in every dept, eventually ending up on Cesar's floor, where there is no hiding place from the man himself. Some of her antics are really quite amusing. Then Cesar discovers that she is in debt, bank employees are not allowed to have large debts and it is a case of instant dismissal. But Cesar has a problem and he is prepared to make a deal with Dixie he will pay her debts if she does something for him. This is one of Lynne Graham's best books. It is amazing when the author is restricted to around a 185 pages they are able to get such full character development and a really good story.

ヒロインが可愛い!
Reviewed in Japan on 26 July 2015Verified Purchase

What Has Happened to Presents
Reviewed in the United States on 1 May 2011Verified Purchase
I loved this book. It is the perfect I have 2 hours and nothing to do and need a pick me up type of thing. Basiclly this is your typical HQ Presents alpha + Virgin = Baby book, but with a certain amount of humor and a lack of some of the typical trappings that it was just great.
First off the hero actually allows the heroine to interact with a man who she has a crush on, adn while he makes it clear he's not happy about it, he doesn't start issuing royal decreas or treat the heroine like she is his property. Meanwhile the heroine is a total ditz that you can't help but like her.
I wish that the authors today (Lyne Graham included) were able to infuse some humor into their stories, it seems like the books we get now are A + B = C with no extra little sparks included.

The book is 100 times better. Read it, and then read this. The art style was great though! No hideous faces etc lol
