I am a bit of a yoga pants aficionado, being a SAHM and yoga instructor. :-) I wear yoga pants both for casual around-the-house wear, and also to practice and teach yoga. I've worn A LOT of different brands of yoga pants over the years, and these are my favorite.

- They are thinner than most cotton/spandex yoga pants, but not *too* thin (i.e. they don't show cellulite, but they do show panty lines). They are NOT see-through when I bend over.

- They are just the right mix of cotton, poly, and spandex. Most cotton/spandex pants stretch out of shape after a few hours of wear, but all-poly pants don't breathe well. These keep their shape, breathe well, and wash well (no pilling so far, and I've worn and washed mine several times already).

- The waistline is moderately placed (not low-rise, but not high-rise either). You don't have to worry about it sliding down when you bend or squat, and it helps contain a little bit of lower-belly squish.

All in all, an excellent and versatile pair of yoga pants at a very reasonable price.

I LOVE these pants. So much so, that I have now worn out four pairs and have two new ones in my closet. The best of the worn out ones have become my lounge around the house jammy pants. These pants have reliably seen me through weekly workouts and casual just want comfy pants days for two years now. I hope Spalding never changes the cut. The only thing that has changed is after losing weight I had to go down a size because while the larger size still fit casually they would slowly fall as I jogged and I was having to slow down and hitch them often. So they fit pretty true to size although they are pretty flexible in the size department. When you find something that fits this nicely and is super comfortable like this, it becomes a must have fave. They look great with sneakers and look great dressed up with a pair of sandals. These have become my Must Have Favorite active yoga type pants.

These pants came up in a search for "yoga pants for short, fat people" because well, I'm short and fat.

These pants are excellent quality, even when downward dogging. My only complaint is that they are big. I am 5'2" and wear a size 16 in pants and ordered XL. As usual with yoga pants they were too long, but only by 3" instead of the usual 6". The waist is comfortable but shifts around, which really surprises me since XLs usually don't fit around the waist.

The good news is that the pants were easy to hem to the length I needed.

I laundered the pants and they held up well, they didn't fade, pill or shrink. I will definately buy these again, but maybe in a smaller size.

These are the best pants ever and soooo inexpensive. They compare to a $50 similar pant that I bought not to long ago that I would have returned if I knew about these..So soft and comfortable you will want to wear them 24/7. I am 5'4" and 135 lbs. I usually buy and extra large because I hate things too tight. They were out of extra large so I got large instead. Thank goodness! The large fit perfectly however they are too long. If you fold the waist over it is just about right. Wouldn't trade these for anything. How wonderful to be comfortable for a change!!
