I was in the market for True Wireless Earphones, and I was originally looking at the Airpods. I instead decided to get these during one of the lightning deals as it was a solid price.
These earphones are great, the sound is clear and I believe is the direct upgrade to the SoundPeats Q30 Plus. You can use just the right earbud (Master Control) or both left and right. The microphone can be a little soft, and harder to use in noisy environments but is completely fine for normal everyday use. Unfortunately these aren't perfect. the earbuds that came with it aren't a perfect fit and feels a little loose. Though this doesn't seem to be much of a problem as it stays in even if I shake my head. The other fault I found is that they use micro-b charging technology. I've began my transition to Type C technology and this would be perfect if it was Type C.
After owning new Galaxy Buds and then losing both of them, I was hooked on the idea of wireless ear buds. However, after my recent track record I wasn't prepared to spend $150+ on more Galaxy Buds, so I started researching TWS and found the Soundpeats TrueCapsule buds to standout from others. I liked how they look, v5 bluetooth and they rated very well for sound quality.
The Good: Sound Touch/tap controls Astetics In ear feel - very close to Galaxy Buds feel Stability in ear is great Bluetooth range - v5
Not so Good: (but acceptable at this price point) Charge case lid kind of fiddly to open Micro USB (no USB-C) Charge case feels flimsy Both Earbuds have a white flashing light - a little annoying for partner while listening in dark in bed. Volume does not good really loud. But also a good thing to avoid hearing damage.. However volume goes high enough. Only IPX5 water rating Can only use right bud on its own. Phone call clarity for caller no great, but not bad either.
I was amazed because how good is it. the design and the build quality is great for the money. I must say the best bluetooth 5.0 earbuds for the budget, the sounds quality will adapt good to all kind of music in everyday use. At first I don't like that it true wireless because I have bad experience in cheap true wireless earpieces before, due to sometimes they don't work together so I have to reconnect, but this earbuds is fix all that problem, will test this more, totally recommended at the moment
These true wirelessearbuds come in an understated black color theme and overall design aesthetic, fitting snugly in your ear, without much protruding. An added bonus is the small form factor magnetic charging case, easily enough to slip into a pocket here and there. The charging case can recharge the earbuds about twice or thrice, which provides a welcome boost in power throughout the day when you're not listening, although alone they have an adequate 3 or 4-hour battery life.
Sound quality is definitely one of the best given the price that these earbuds ask for, comparable to the applauded MI Piston 3s. Sound was mostly smooth throughout the entire profile, with only slight distortion at the highs, although it was a bit too bass-heavy for my liking. However, songs still sounded excellent on these earbuds.
Comfort and user operability was the only weaker point of these otherwise flawless earbuds. Although comfort varies from person to person, the angle of these earbuds just didn't sit too well in my ear canals, no matter which tip was used. User controls were also somewhat confusing initially, especially when switching from Stereo to Mono and back. Another note to make would be that operation involves pressing a button on the earbuds, which push them further into your ear canal, which is a slight annoyance. Media control includes Play/Pause, Next, and Previous, but there is no volume adjustment, and each earbud is mapped to only either Next/Previous, which means that with one earbud in, you can't move back and forth between songs.
Connectivity with these earbuds was relatively painless, with Bluetooth 5.0 and connecting fast enough to my devices. However, as mentioned before, toggling between Mono and Stereo was a bit of a pain, and sometimes they suffer dropout, with the left earbud losing connection.
Build quality is a bit plasticky and flimsy, but there is an ample amount of sweat-resistance, which is an advantage.
All in all, these earbuds were an excellent purchase, and is definitely the best in this price range, as well as maybe even higher. I use these as my go-to workout earbuds, due to its wireless connectivity (over my Bose Soundsport) as well as sometimes for my daily commute when I don't want to lug my headphones around. Would recommend.
The Good: -Epic sound for price -Great bluetooth -Great battery life -Portable charging case -Solid, sweat resistant build
The Bad: -Toggling between Mono and Stereo is too hard -Didn't fit too well -Full media controls require both earbuds, no volume adjustment
Great fit and quality for the price! The battery life is quite long lasting me just under 4 hours on a single charge. Autopairing and set up were simple and once you get used to the controls it's really convenient. I got a pair of the Dudios Zeus Air and I feel this particular Soundpeat truly wirelessearbud model has a much fit to it. I wanted to get another pair since the wife wanted the one I already purchased but they are currently unavailable, but will definitely keep my eyes open for it.
Have been using soundpeats earbuds over the past few days and have come to the conclusion that this is one of the better earbuds and i have used few. Sound has strong Bass, clean sounds and is loud to block out external sounds. Been using it at the gym, on runs and hikes and have not slipped out. pretty comfortable compared to my old earbuds. The reviews on amazon about these true capsules earbuds sounds pretty accurate from what i have experienced. i would highly recommend them to all my friends and family. These little wirelessearbuds wont let you down. Having a great product is one thing, having Customer support is another, had to contact them via email and the response took less than 1 day. Great communication, great product. 10/10
Have had my sound peats wireless ear buds for a week now. They are not as good as expected and as reviewed. The sound is not bad compared to my other ear buds of the same price, but 1) I find that they are difficult to take out of the charging/storage case. 2) they don't play concurrently. They are both coming up as paired but sound only comes out from one earbud at a time. This happens on my mobile as well as my ipad. I have followed instructions as per the video clip on the page and the leaflet provided with in the box that the earbuds arrived in, but it still doesn’t pair together.
I don't consider myself an audiophile but I have owned more than a few earphones, headphones in my life. I've owned corded and wireless and they range anywhere from $10 to $400AUD.
These are my first wirelessearbuds. I've been using them for just over 3 weeks now and I am impressed. These sound like they're worth $150-$200. I've tested some hip hop, r&b, pop, metal, broadway recordings, acoustic tracks, orchestral. Very good bass, not overpowering, also quite clean sounding for an in-ear design.
They sit very comfortably for me. I have small ear canals so using the smallest tip was fine.
As for the controls, I haven't played with the modes much. I tend to forget the gestures. Turning on and off is easy, bluetooth pairing is easy.
The only slight difficulty I have is opening the case. The case is flimsy, isn't pretty and the groove is not easy to find. When my fingers are dry they slip trying to open it so I have to dig my nail on the opening a little bit to lift the cover. They may sound premium but the build quality is so so.
Highly recommend for people looking for cheap wirelessearbuds. It's great value. I've listened to worse sound from $50 headphones.
I am very impressed with these wirelessearbuds which I believe gives the Apple equivalent a run for it's money. My friend has a set of airpods so I was able to compare them side by side and I find the Soundpeats pair to have better bass and louder audio overall and to be similar in audio quality. I've had no issies with the mic nor connection/range problems. The charging case is small enough to fit in my pocket and solidly constructed for a plastic case. The airbuds themselves are comfortable and don't fall out when moving around. If you like style style of in-ear buds then these are, in my opion, the best available on the market and give the Apple Airpods a run for their money. Very happy with my purchase so far.
These SoundPEATS wireless ear buds are great! So easy to use, instantly paired and connected to my iPhone’s Bluetooth when I took them out of the case. I bought two sets, one for my daughter who uses an Android smartphone. It also works seamlessly for her. After reading many reviews, decided to take the plunge and turn out it’s a great decision. The design fits snugly. Tested out with a run, they stayed on. Microphone works fine with calls. I have recommended to my extended family. They are genuinely surprised at the quality and ease of use. Will definitely buy more of these in the future.
