I usually don’t write reviews on purchases but these TrueWireless headphones blew me away for the price of AUD$42.99 so I thought Id share my experience.
I’ve been using my trusty Soundpeats Q30 Plus Bluetooth wired headphones for the past year and a half which are also amazing headphones as well and are still going strong, but I wanted to try a pair of truly wireless headphones while training.
Being an in ear earphone kind of guy I was looking at a number of in ear bluetooth wireless earphones, besides the Apple Earpods which I’m not a fan of.
After much researching I narrowed it down to two. A competitors in a similar price range, and the Soundpeats TrueWireless.
The reviews I read about the competitors was they weren’t loud enough and didn’t push out enough bass, so I decided to go for these Soundpeats.
I was a little bit apprehensive if they’d compete with my Q30 Plus Bluetooth wired headphones or if they’d sound good, but geez these headphones proved me wrong.
These earphones are loud and sound terrific for the price they’re sold at.
Listening to something like the Red Hot Chili Peppers you get lots of bass, lots of mids and lots of highs. There’s also a lot going on in their music and these headphones can handle it all perfectly audio wise.
The main thing that I would like to point out is that you need to experiment with the silicone ear tips to get the right fit and right sounds. The small and medium were too small for my ears and the audio didn’t sound great but when I swapped over the large ear tips this is where the headphones formed a proper seal in my ear and delivered great sound.
Now that I spoken about the audio quality, the headphone build and design are also great.
From the attached pics the headphones come in a small charging case which the headphones snap back into with the help of magnetics. When they’re back in the case they turn off and start charging. Cool. The charging case also has four small white LED’s which tell you the remaining charge and charges via a micro usb cable.
In terms of wearing these headphones and comfort, this is also where they also excel.
I’ve been worried that they would feel uncomfortable and fall out but this has never happened.
With everyday wear they sit snugly in your ear and don’t move at all. They fit really well and you barely notice that they’re there. Even at the gym with them in running on the treadmill, using an elliptical and weights these earphones just stay in and pump out motivational tunes.
All in all these are awesome wireless bluetooth headphones for the price.
I definitely recommend for headphones for the features, audio quality, fit / comfort, and the price.
The only issues I’d say I have with these is they don’t have volume control on the earphones, but that’s not a big deal as I control the audio via my Apple Watch or my iPhone. But looking at all the other similar headphones they don’t have this function either.
Do yourself a favour and buy these headphones, you won’t regret it.
My biggest concern was that they would stay in my ears. I've had rubber tipped headphones in the past that wouldn't stay in my ears. After using them for about 2-3 hours of building shelves in my garage, they stayed in really well. They fit comfortably, the volume was very good, and they blocked out A LOT of sound. The other things I was impressed with were the touch controls, connection, and call quality. Whenever I use Bluetooth headphones my wife mentions the poor call quality but with these she said that the quality was good. After the first day of my first pair of truewireless headphones I'm very impressed. I can't say these are the best headphones of their type because I haven't tested them all, I can say that these are a great value for the money and if you are looking for a set that provides excellent call quality, a strong connection, and great (for the cost) sound. These would be recommended. Very happy with my purchase and considering getting another set for a friend.
I was in the market for TrueWireless Earphones, and I was originally looking at the Airpods. I instead decided to get these during one of the lightning deals as it was a solid price.
These earphones are great, the sound is clear and I believe is the direct upgrade to the SoundPeats Q30 Plus. You can use just the right earbud (Master Control) or both left and right. The microphone can be a little soft, and harder to use in noisy environments but is completely fine for normal everyday use. Unfortunately these aren't perfect. the earbuds that came with it aren't a perfect fit and feels a little loose. Though this doesn't seem to be much of a problem as it stays in even if I shake my head. The other fault I found is that they use micro-b charging technology. I've began my transition to Type C technology and this would be perfect if it was Type C.
I was amazed because how good is it. the design and the build quality is great for the money. I must say the best bluetooth 5.0 earbuds for the budget, the sounds quality will adapt good to all kind of music in everyday use. At first I don't like that it truewireless because I have bad experience in cheap truewireless earpieces before, due to sometimes they don't work together so I have to reconnect, but this earbuds is fix all that problem, will test this more, totally recommended at the moment
These truewireless earbuds come in an understated black color theme and overall design aesthetic, fitting snugly in your ear, without much protruding. An added bonus is the small form factor magnetic charging case, easily enough to slip into a pocket here and there. The charging case can recharge the earbuds about twice or thrice, which provides a welcome boost in power throughout the day when you're not listening, although alone they have an adequate 3 or 4-hour battery life.
Sound quality is definitely one of the best given the price that these earbuds ask for, comparable to the applauded MI Piston 3s. Sound was mostly smooth throughout the entire profile, with only slight distortion at the highs, although it was a bit too bass-heavy for my liking. However, songs still sounded excellent on these earbuds.
Comfort and user operability was the only weaker point of these otherwise flawless earbuds. Although comfort varies from person to person, the angle of these earbuds just didn't sit too well in my ear canals, no matter which tip was used. User controls were also somewhat confusing initially, especially when switching from Stereo to Mono and back. Another note to make would be that operation involves pressing a button on the earbuds, which push them further into your ear canal, which is a slight annoyance. Media control includes Play/Pause, Next, and Previous, but there is no volume adjustment, and each earbud is mapped to only either Next/Previous, which means that with one earbud in, you can't move back and forth between songs.
Connectivity with these earbuds was relatively painless, with Bluetooth 5.0 and connecting fast enough to my devices. However, as mentioned before, toggling between Mono and Stereo was a bit of a pain, and sometimes they suffer dropout, with the left earbud losing connection.
Build quality is a bit plasticky and flimsy, but there is an ample amount of sweat-resistance, which is an advantage.
All in all, these earbuds were an excellent purchase, and is definitely the best in this price range, as well as maybe even higher. I use these as my go-to workout earbuds, due to its wireless connectivity (over my Bose Soundsport) as well as sometimes for my daily commute when I don't want to lug my headphones around. Would recommend.
The Good: -Epic sound for price -Great bluetooth -Great battery life -Portable charging case -Solid, sweat resistant build
The Bad: -Toggling between Mono and Stereo is too hard -Didn't fit too well -Full media controls require both earbuds, no volume adjustment
Have been using soundpeats earbuds over the past few days and have come to the conclusion that this is one of the better earbuds and i have used few. Sound has strong Bass, clean sounds and is loud to block out external sounds. Been using it at the gym, on runs and hikes and have not slipped out. pretty comfortable compared to my old earbuds. The reviews on amazon about these true capsules earbuds sounds pretty accurate from what i have experienced. i would highly recommend them to all my friends and family. These little wireless earbuds wont let you down. Having a great product is one thing, having Customer support is another, had to contact them via email and the response took less than 1 day. Great communication, great product. 10/10
These wireless earpods are one of the best earpods in it's price range and probably beats some premium Bluetooth earphones in the market.
Doesn't take more than 30 seconds from unboxing and get it connects to your mobile. Bluetooth connection very stable. No drop outs when you turn head side to side, where I had experience previous with different brand of wireless pods.
Earpods sits quite well in the ears, doesn't seem be able to fall out easily even with excessive movement.
Overall sound quality is good, but definitely not one of the best out there. Bass seems to be a little too much for my liking.
I would definitely recommend who is looking for a pair of wireless earpods and not having to burn a hole in their pocket.
Pros: 1. Great sound with good sound isolation. 2. No issues with mic. Can definitely live with it. 3. Pretty good battery life. 4. Fast pairing with very little drop outs.
Cons: 1. It can't be connected to two devices at the same time and hence switching between 2 devices is a bit of a pain, you have to turn of the Bluetooth of the device to which the true capsule is connected to and then connect to another device. Would've prefered if there was some way to disconnect from a device using the true capsule earphones or case. 2. The right earpiece has a white light that blinks at regular intervals (every 7 seconds) when in use and a constant white light when paired but not in use. It's really annoying because people will definitely notice you for wearing a "flashy" little piece in your ear in dark environment. I'm probably gonna seal the light with some pen or tape. 3. The case lid is very difficult to open with one hand, I haven't succeeded yet and it feels a bit flimsy when it's open. 4. Would've looked more sleeker if it didn't have soundpeats written along the length of the earpiece. Instead maybe have a logo? 5. Micro USB - last in the list of con because I shouldn't be complaining about this at this price point. But I would've definitely preferred a type C port.
My complaints above, except for the blinking light are maybe demanding a lot extra at this price point. Overall I am pretty happy with the purchase. If you are looking for a decent pair of cheap earphones or trying out the wireless experience, this is one of the best.
It's only early days since my purchase so don't have a longitudinal study or long term perspective into these headphones, but so far I've been very pleased with them. I purchased them for running and have been pleasantly surprised with how well they stay in, even though most reviews I read comment on similar outcomes. I researched plenty of truewireless headphones and these ones rated very well for a reasons. Their quality far outweighs their price. In my early days of opinion I would say do yourself a favour and give them a shot.
I was shopping around looking for cheap truewireless and decided to try this pair because a) I like the style with the fins compared to smaller buds and b) they were on amazon prime day sale. I'd kind of assumed most of the reviews were fake or paid but they really are this good. Don't expect mind-blowing audio but they sound fine, better than a cheap wired pair but nothing compared to high end audio. Having said that the audio isn't flawed, there is no echo, tinniness, balance issue, popping etc. And considering they are truewireless with good battery life, stylish looking and handy touch controls, they are a fantastic purchase. Buy em as presents and people will think you spend a fortune ;)
