Product Description

War is coming. The Lady of Battles will have it no other way.

Lillian and Gregory fear the demi-goddess is already moving her pawns and dark knights into place, preparing for the first strike. Earth must be ready, but first Lillian needs to ensure that the uneasy alliance between the Fae and the human military does not fail. Every ally is needed if earth is to have any hope of surviving the coming war.

As fate draws friends and enemies closer together, one new player has appeared unexpectedly—Lillian’s new doppelganger clone. She isn’t certain if it’s pure, old-fashioned jealousy or something more sinister that has her watching the newly cloned Sorceress with distrust, but the fact remains that her doppelganger’s allegiance remains mysterious.

For the good of the alliance, Lillian needs to find out if this new sorceress is on their side, playing for the Battle Goddess, or if she has an agenda of her own—one that no one can predict.

The Gargoyle and Sorceress Tales:

Sorceress Awakening (Book One)
Sorceress Rising (Book Two)

5.0 out of 5 stars Sorceress At War ( A Gargoyle and Sorceress Tale - Book #4) 5 June 2017

Lillian, a dryad/human and now also a gargoyle and Gregory her gargoyle protector have met up with a newly born dryad Sorceress by the name of Daryna. She is the true Sorceress and other half to Gregory. The fun now is to decide if she is there as an ally or is she secretly working with the Battle Goddess? Her son Gryton is a loose cannon being a fire element and after being in the hands of the Battle Goddess for a number of years is now in the human realm causing all sorts of death and destruction. Anna, a human member of the Canadian military was nearly killed but was saved by a baby (cub) gargoyles blood. He goes by the name of Shadowlight. During human military, gargoyle and fae battle practice Shadowlight is kidnapped by the Battle Goddess troops. Anna is now on the hunt for her cub and was sent, thanks to the Sorceress Daryna, into the Battle Goddess realm.
Lots of twists and turns, battle action, deception, and a sprinkle of love makes this a great addition to the series!

As always Lisa keeps you on the edge of your seat by bringing the main character and her doppelganger together in a way that made you wonder who was on who's side, and who was who's Impossible child, and what alliances were formed to bring about a fantastic conclusion to this book. It leaves a wonderful opening for more, while satisfying the most fanatical fan of this series. There are battles...*yes,* there is pain....there is hope,,, and in the end, another legacy for Lisa Blackwood. If you don't get this book out of all the choices out there, then you will really miss one of the best I've ever read.
3.0 out of 5 stars Very Disappointed. 2 June 2017

After waiting so long to finally get to the 4th book, I loved the first 3, I was very disappointed in the plot and found the book very short. Maybe if I had not read the first 3 all together and had to wait for this one I would not have been so disappointed. Left too much of a cliffhanger without much new happening. Hoping the next book in the series does not take so long and that it feels like it was not hurried in being written as this one was.
4.0 out of 5 stars Gargoyle and Sorceress series. 15 June 2017

I read book 1 for free and bought the next four so they can't be too bad. No, there's no but, there is a general comment that I'm pretty sure the author never held a hunting rifle. The story is fine and after 4 books the characters are developing even if the timeframe is a bit compressed. It just means that there is lots of action.
2.0 out of 5 stars Least of the series. 22 July 2017

Compared to the other books in the series, not that great. The ending is poorly matched. Unsure if I will even order the next.
